On X, formerly Twitter, Netflix revealed a total of four images from The Waterfront. The first image shows Holt McCallany's family patriarch, Harlan Buckley, behind the wheel of a boat, while a second image shows Maria Bello as his wife, Belle Buckley. Another image appears to show three characters at a funeral – Jake Weary as Cane Buckley, Danielle Campbell as his wife Peyton, and Melissa Benoist as Bree Buckley. Lastly, there is another image of Cane alongside Rafael L. Silva as Shawn Wilson. Check out the images below:

Who Are The Characters?

By following the Buckley family, The Waterfront will revolve around their patriarch, Harlan, who is recovering from two heart attacks, leaving the family business in the hands of his wife, Belle, and their only son, Cane. As their empire begins to crumble, Belle and Cane must resort to increasingly risky measures to keep the family businesses afloat. However, because of Belle and Cane's reckless choices​​​​​​, Harlan is forced to retake control of the family empire and steer it back on course before it falls apart.

The images also reveal a look at Harlan and Belle's daughter, Bree (played by Supergirl's Melissa Benoist), who is working through addiction recovery, having already lost custody of her son, and becomes involved in a complex relationship that may jeopardize her family's future for good. The images also show Cane's wife, Peyton, described as a classic Southern belle who radiates charm, and Shawn, a newly employed bartender for the Buckleys who harbors a secret about the family that could ruin their lives completely.

Based on the first look, The Waterfront appears to be a good old-fashioned dysfunctional family drama that will explore the extreme lengths that people go to protect their family legacy.
