As perfect as the NBC show can be, these background catches prove there were small inaccuracies, and even some Easter eggs sprinkled throughout. To see what you could have missed, scroll below!

Did Jim Lie About Never Playing Call Of Duty Before?

JIM PLAYS CALL OF CUTY IN THE OFFICE

When Jim transferred from Scranton to Stamford, he quickly found out his new office played Call of Duty on their downtime. The only problem was Jim had no idea how to play the game and was ruining the team's average from getting killed so often. However, a few eagle-eyed fans realized in the second season that when Jim throws a BBQ at his house, there were multiple Call of Duty games on his desk!

Either he totally forgot how to play the game by the time he was in Stamford (which doesn't sound like Jim) or those games were his roommates', because the evidence is right there. Another possibility is that he bought all those Call of Duties in an effort to improve his online shooting skills and eventually redeem himself.

Michael Really Did Frame His Relationship Waiver With Jan

MICHAEL FRAMED THE CONTRACT WITH JAN - THE OFFICE

When Jan and Michael officially start dating in the third season, Jan tells Michael the two need to sign a relationship disclosure for Dunder Mifflin. The agreement protects both the company and the couple in case things go wrong. Michael was so happy about being in a relationship with someone like Jan that he told her he would frame it.

Fast forward to Jan's deposition against Dunder Mifflin, Michael holds the waiver of rights in his hand and wouldn't you know, it was really framed. He really did go home and frame proof of their relationship.

Erin Got Better & Better At Work

ERIN HANNON AWARD FOR WORK - THE OFFICE

The sad thing about Erin Hannon is that her upbringing made her feel like she's less than or not worthy. She said once before that she doesn't get many opportunities in her life so when she's given one, she has to take it seriously. Sadly, she continues to question her abilities when Andy is manager and asks Pam to do things that Erin is capable of.

But in this scene above, it's clear that there is a frame by Erin's desk that says she placed in the Dunder Mifflin annual Speed Dialing & Memo Sorting Competition. In 2010 she won honorable mention. In 2011 she placed fourth. And in 2012 she finally took home first place!

Dwight Really Did Love His Beets

DWIGHT GROWING BEETS AT WORK - THE OFFICE

He may not look like it, but Dwight is a proud beet farmer. He owns a massive farm and takes pride in his beets. In fact, he loves beets so much that he was even growing on in the office!

One Reddit spotted the beet plant in the background with a large heat lamp over it to make it successfully grow indoors. This has to be one of the most Dwight things we've seen since the beet cleanse he made Angela do.

A Major Spelling Error

JIM AND PAMS WEDDING SIGN - THE OFFICE

Fans waited far too long for Jim and Pam to get together and even longer for them to get married. However, when it came for their two-part wedding episodes, fans' hearts were exploding. Jim and Pam were finally going to be married and put their past behind them. The couple decided to get married in Niagara Falls because they didn't want a huge wedding (as a way to save money).

Unsurprisingly, Michael gave everyone Friday and Monday off if they went to the wedding. In the episode, everyone arrives to the hotel to check-in and there's a sign in the background welcoming guests. The only problem is Jim's last name (Halpert) is spelled wrong!

Who's Doyle?!

HANK FROM THE OFFICE

Hank is the Scranton Business Park's security guard. He's typically seen by the front door, welcoming people as they come in. He was lowkey but a hard worker that fans could never not love. Later when Dwight buys the building, Hank also works at the lobby cafe. Hank was a minor character but a well-known one nonetheless.

But in one episode, his nametag doesn't say Hank — it says Doyle! Now, Doyle could be Hank's last name but it's not known. Perhaps the show wanted his name to be Doyle before naming him Hank and they totally forgot about the nametag?

Jan's Special Chair

JANS SPECIAL CHAIR IN THE OFFICE

When Michael finds out he's going to be "kind of a daddy," he forces the office to partake in an office baby shower for Jan. Her child wasn't biologically his but he felt like an equal party in raising the baby because they were together when she got pregnant. The entire branch got her gifts, created games, put food together — the works! But when Jan shows up to the baby shower, she brings a guest: her baby. She already gave birth and only came to the shower to save face with Michael.

In one scene, Jan is on the ground with Astrid and a very special chair can be seen behind her! It's covered in fun Post-It notes and has a soft ring for her to sit on. It appears that even that wasn't good enough for Jan.

Michael's Ambitious Auction Goal

MICHAELS CRIME AID SIGN THE OFFICE

After Holly and Michael left the building unlocked overnight due to their awkward stairway romance, Dunder Mifflin gets robbed. The office is totally freaked out and felt unsafe. Knowing they were to blame, Michael held an auction to raise money for the things that went missing during the robbery.

One fan realized that Michael's poster that said "Amount Raised" on it had an estimated price range of $3,500 to $1 million! Did Michael really think he was going to raise $1 million in charitable donations from that group? Talk about ambitious!

Ryan Isn't A Great Temp

THE IM SCREEN IN THE OFFICEjpg

Before Erin came to Dunder Mifflin, Ryan appeared to be the youngest in the office. He made a big deal about being in business school and moving on up in the world, but didn't do much with his life after he was arrested for fraud.

For someone so young and "with it," one would assume he knew how to work a copier. But in this quick shot of an email list, it looks like Ryan doesn't know how to do anything. So much for all that youthful potential.

"Steve Was Robbed!"

THE OFFICE EMMY SNUB SHOWN ON SCREEN

The Office has won multiple awards over the course of its long and successful run, but it arguably lost more nominations than it could count. Carell was nominated an impressive six times for his role of Michael Scott for the Emmys but never took home the award. Many have said he was robbed of an Emmy over the years, and it looks like Dunder Mifflin Scranton thought so too!

One fan pointed out a funny note on the whiteboard under Tuesday the 5th: "Congratulations to all for our first of many Emmys. Steve was robbed!"
