Pam Beesly dated a few guys before finally settling down with the man everyone knew she was meant to be with. The same story goes for Kelly Kapoor and Angela Martin.

Meeting one's soulmate in the workplace is a common thing that happens in real life all the time. The Office reflected that with the many couples that viewers saw through, episode to episode. Some relationships were brief and uneventful while others were designed to last forever.

Pam & Roy Anderson

Pam and Roy were engaged for a long time with no end in sight, according to Pam. It seemed that the two of them only stayed together for so long out of comfort and familiarity. They weren't really happy together but they kept it going anyway. When Pam called off the engagement, Roy was shocked by it but he shouldn't have been.

Roy never really made an effort in his relationship with Pam. He was lazy, inattentive, and kind of rude. One example of this is when he didn't get her a single gift for Valentine's Day.

Kelly & Ravi The Pediatric Doctor

Kelly met Ravi, a pediatric doctor, through Jim and Pam who introduced her to him. Pam introduced Kelly to Ravi in hopes that this relationship would help Kelly move on from Ryan. Pam saw that Kelly was always getting hurt by Ryan and wanted to help Kelly start fresh with the right person.

Kelly made things work with Ravi for a while but it wasn't meant to be for the handsome and intelligent doctor. Her heart always belonged to Ryan, despite how badly Ryan always treated her.

Angela & Robert The Senator

Angela & Robert The Senator

Angela's worst relationship on The Office would have to be the relationship she had with Robert Lipton, the senator. Their entire relationship was nothing more than a sham. He used her as a cover-up to hide the fact that he was actually gay. He ended up cheating on her with Oscar Martinez.

Angela was devastated by the senator's infidelity because it ruined her perfect cookie-cutter life. She loved having a husband in the political arena, she loved being a trophy wife, and she loved the press. All of that fell apart when the truth about the senator came out.

Pam & Danny Cordray

Pam's fling with Danny Cordray lasted for 2 (maybe 3) dates. In the show, Danny and Pam ended up confirming that they went on two dates together, made plans for a third, but then never talked again. Pam claimed that things fizzled between them but Danny was actually the one who lost interest.

He ended up itting to both Pam and Jim that he didn't call Pam back after their second date because he felt like she was a bit too dorky. Jim always found her dorkiness endearing and couldn't understand Danny's way of thinking at all.

Kelly & Darryl Philbin

Kelly & Darryl Philbin

Kelly and Darryl Philbin made a good couple, even though they didn't last too long. In some episodes, it seemed like Kelly was genuinely interested in Darryl. She cheered for him during his ping pong matches against Jim and even got into a smack-talking war with Pam over it.

In other episodes, it seemed like she was only dating Darryl to make Ryan jealous -- in other words, she was using him. Her efforts to make Ryan jealous by using Darryl actually ended up temporarily working in her favor.

Angela & Andy Bernard

Angela and Andy got engaged but they never actually made it down the aisle. Andy was a better match for Erin Hannon, the receptionist that came into the picture in later seasons of the show. Angela was obviously a better match for Dwight but after he "mercy killed" her cat, she didn't want anything to do with him anymore.

Dwight'sdecision to euthanize Angela's cat, Sprinkles, caused Angela to lose all romantic interest in him pretty much overnight. Before he did that, the two were very happy together.

Pam & Brian The Boom Operator

Near the end of the show, viewers were able to find out about Pam's emotional affair with Brian the boom operator. Whenever Jim wasn't around, she was confiding in Brian and leaning on him for emotional . Brian is who she would go to express her feelings.

The emotional affair she had with Brian could have very easily led into a physical affair since Jim was spending so much time in Philadelphia, two hours away from Scranton.

Kelly & Ryan Howard

Kelly and Ryan ended up together, running off into the sunset after ditching his baby with Nellie Bertram. They reconnected in the final episode at Dwight and Angela's wedding. Kelly also ditched Ravi the pediatric doctor which wasn't shocking or unexpected at all.

Kelly and Ryan dated off-and-on for years and at one point, they even got married. Whenever they were broken up, they most likely knew that they would be reconciling again at some point.

Angela & Dwight Schrute

Angela & Dwight Schrute

Angela and Dwight Schrute are easily one of the best couples from The Office... ever. Her stern, bossy, short-tempered attitude paired with his dominating, alert, and highly focused workplace ethic made all of the sense in the world. They had so many ups and downs but they were always meant to be.

Dwight's proposal to Angela with a megaphone is by far one of the best moments from the entire show and so is the final episode revolving around their wedding day.

Pam & Jim Halpert

Pam and Jim make the best couple ever and have truly coined the #relationshipgoals hashtag down to the very last detail. He pined after her for years while she wasted time being engaged to the wrong guy. In the meantime, he tried dating a couple of other women... Katy and Karen? But in the end, he was always meant to be with Pam.

Jim proposed at a gas station while Pam was still in art school and they eventually got married at Niagara Falls surrounded by their closest friends and family . They have an adorably precious love story.
