Well-written characters of a movie or TV show stay with the audience long after they stop watching, and luckily memorability has never been a problem for Jim and Dwight pranking each other, or Michael pulling off one of his classic cringe-inducing antics are just too unforgettable, either due to being too funny or too cringe.
It has been nearly nine years since it has ended, and although rewatching is always an option (something many people have undoubtedly done already numerous times over) it's only natural to miss such an awesome cast of actors. For this reason, the following list gathers the names of some other shows where the cast of The Office can be found.
The Blacklist
James Spader's character Robert California was a personality brimming with eccentricities, to say the least, with all of his iconic one-liners like "I'm the motherf*****g lizard king".
He brings a portion of that eccentricity to The Blacklist as well, where he plays the part of Raymond 'Red' Reddington, one of the most wanted criminals in the world who surrender to the authorities and even helps them catch other criminals. For his performance in the role, Spader has been nominated for a Golden Globe award twice.
Splitting Up Together
Pam Beesly's dysfunctional romance life is one of the most highlighted parts of the character in the early stages of The Office, and actress Jenna Fischer carries over that trend to Splitting Up Together as well.
Fischer and Rules of Engagement star Oliver Hudson play a married couple who have decided to divorce, but still continue to live together in the same household to look over their children. Over the course of the events of the show, they learn to appreciate each other's company once again and grow closer.
Haters Back Off
Based on the character created by popular Youtuber Colleen Ballinger, Haters Back Off tells the story of Miranda Sings, a young woman with dreams of getting famous on Youtube. Despite not being particularly talented in any field, she continues to videos of herself on random escapades and believes that she is destined for greatness.
The Office's Angela Kinsey plays her ive mother who suffers from a strange case of hypochondriasis, a condition that causes a person to believe that they suffer from a serious illness.
Parks And Recreation
Rashida Jones's tenure in The Office was short-lived, and not a very good one either as many will argue that Parks And Recreation does a much better job, where Jones plays a much more important character as a kind nurse and best friend of Leslie Knope.
She is just one of the many things to love in this workplace comedy that is potentially the most similar to The Office than anything else out there.
Backstrom
Based on the Swedish novel series by author Leif G. W. Persson, Backstrom features everybody's favorite Assistant (to the) Regional Manager as police detective Everett Backstrom. The series presents the character as someone very similar in nature to the famed doctor Gregory House from House M.D.
He is talented but poor at channeling that talent, self-destructive to boot, and his extremely abrasive and rude personality ruins his social relationships.
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan
Author Tom Clancy has written a multitude of military-action books, many of which have received successful adaptations, notably in the form of video games, movies, and TV shows.
and also one of their most expensive.
The Mindy Project
Most people know her as the gossip-loving over-dramatic Kelly Kapoor, but actress Mindy Kaling did significant work behind the scenes of The Office as well, serving as writer and producer for numerous episodes.
She left the show after its 8th season to create A considerable number of The Office cast also appear in the show, in various cameo roles.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Ellie Kemper plays the cheerful receptionist Erin Hannon in the last five seasons of The Office, and in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, she gets to play an even bigger part in the titular role of Kimmy Schmidt. She is one of the four women in this Netflix sitcom who were held captive for 15 years as a part of a doomsday cult.
Now finally free and in control of her life, she moves to New York, determined to enjoy everything in life that she had been kept away from for so long.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
It is common among TV shows produced by the same network to have the same actors show up in multiples series, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine is no different. Oscar Nunez, Kate Flannery, and Ed Helms make appearances in small roles throughout B99, but Craig Robinson has recurring roles in both the shows.
Robinson plays Doug Judy, a con artist of the highest order who has a complicated relationship with the other characters, who are police detectives. At the end of the day, he is still a criminal, even if a very fun one to be around!
Space Force
Netflix's Space Force was quite a step-up for Steve Carrel, going from being a regional manager of a paper company to the head of his very own US military division.
ed by a cast of equally hilarious actors such as John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, and Jimmy O. Yang, it revolves around a group of people trying to run an organization with the objective of taking Americans back to the moon. Carrel brings his classic Michael Scott persona to this workplace comedy, although with a bit of more discipline and competence as he is a military general after all.
