Pam and Jim are the 'it' couple of the legendary TV show Pam Beesly.

This can of worms opened up three years ago with the hate shower on Jim on several social media channels and now is the turn of Pam. Today we are going to share with you ten incidents that caused fans to totally hate her.

She Cheated On Her Fiancé Roy

Some fans strongly think Pam cheated on Roy by kissing Jim in the show’s first Dundies awards night. It was more of a peck on the lips, but a kiss is a kiss.

She also regularly indulged in light flirting with Jim throughout the workday. Another point to note is that she was actually engaged to Roy for a few years at that point, with no clear plans for a wedding on cards. In the sixteenth episode of the third season, 'Phyllis's Wedding', Roy told her during the dance that she knew very well he really wanted to marry her.

Super Mean With Dwight In The Early Seasons

This is not just noticed by super critic fans, but pointed out by Jenna Fischer herself too, in a podcast. The actress who played Pam in the series said she never liked how Pam treated Dwight during the early episodes in the initial seasons. She was super mean to him and once recalled how she warned Jim (when he ed Dunder Mifflin) to enjoy the time while he can before he meets Dwight. She also used to club together with Jim often to prank Dwight. In fact, that’s how both of them got through their mundane work every day and that's how they arguably fell for each other.

Leading Jim On And Then Turning Him Down Repeatedly

There is no denying it that Pam got super catty whenever she saw Jim with Karen or when Jim did not pay attention to her, for that matter. She took pleasure in flirting with him whenever they were in the office and used to completely shut him out whenever Roy came upstairs to meet her. Although Jim had feelings for her from way before, Pam was the first to kiss him and lead him on.

Also, shortly before Jim transferred to Stamford branch, when he kissed her inside the office, she let him kiss her and then kissed him back too. And then told him she couldn’t accept his proposal. What the heck, Pam?

Not ive Enough

She didn't Jim at all when he wanted to move to Philadelphia to work on his startup Athlead. On the other hand, when Pam had expressed her desire and interest to learn Graphic Design, Jim not only encouraged her, but also ed her completely. He also carved time out of his schedule to meet her and surprise her regularly. But, when it came to Jim, Pam turned sullen and ive-aggressive. In her defense, she was married now with two kids and very little money in the bank.

Nagging

When Jim shows Pam his parents' house and tells her he bought it for her, she looks and sounds elated. While touring around the house, Jim once again tries to apologize for not asking her before buying it and making the decision single-handedly, but she cuts him off, saying she loves it. And the same good old hypocritical Pam, in a later episode, complains about the fact that Jim bought the house without consulting her at all.

Jealous Of Kathy

When Kathy is hired as a replacement for Pam because she is pregnant and is going on maternity leave, she overhears her colleagues calling Kathy the younger Pam. This just rouses her jealousy all over again and she turns on Jim quite painfully, demanding to know if he thinks the same of the new girl. This doesn’t limit just to the distasteful nagging, rather she behaves extremely rudely with him and even makes him take a lie detector test. That really deserves a teeny tiny bit of hate, Pam.

The Last Dundies

At the last Dundies night with Michael, Pam again showed her freaky side. When Jim is awarded for being the Best Dad, he gives a short speech and mentions their daughter Cece while collecting the award.

When he comes back to Pam, she reprimands him just like a bratty girl she is, as to why he didn’t care to mention her at all. A few minutes later when Meredith wins the Best Mom Dundie and Dwight calls Jim and Meredith to pose for a picture together, she again makes a big deal of things.

Childish Behavior When Michael Dated Her Mom

Michael fell for Pam’s mom at Jim and Pam’s wedding. In the sixth season, Michael starts officially dating her. When Pam gets to know about it, she gets pretty aggressive. Even though she doesn't like them dating, she behaves even worse when Michael dumps her mom. She just freaks out and even slaps him in front of the entire office. It is natural that fans poured their hate over Pam immaturely dealing with Michael and assaulting him, which was totally unwarranted.

She Lied About Her Talents

It doesn’t warrant hate for sure, but, this is true that she is not a talented artist. She spent a few months in NYC to learn graphic design full time and yet failed the test. Not only this, when Michael struck a deal with David Wallace for her job as a salesman, she sucked at that too.

When Dunder Mifflin got acquired by Sabre, she lied to the new management and grabbed a job on the pretense of having the job of Office Manager from before the acquisition. And she failed at that too, big time!

Pam Thought Toby Was Cute

What other reason does anyone ever need to hate Pam now? If Michael knew she found Toby adorable, we bet he would never have that kind of tender relationship with her which they developed. Another thing to observe is, even after her wedding with Jim, she was not over new recruit Danny Cordray yet, whom she had dated in the past. Why else would she still be upset he didn’t call her after two dates? She even went on to call themselves Romeo and Juliet, again slipping in a swift comment that Romeo, meaning Danny, didn’t call her back after the second date!
