Because Nicole's absence is due to nothing more than a scheduling conflict, it's highly possible that she'll come back to The Masked Singer in a future season, if the series is renewed. Rita did an impressive job during The Masked Singer season 11. She guessed three of the 16 contestants correctly, including winner Vanessa Hudgens as Goldfish, third place finisher Thelma Houston as Clock, and Sisqó as Lizard. She tied with Robin, and they were second only to Jenny, who's fourth correct guess was actually based on Rita's prediction that Vanessa was Goldfish, so they technically tied also. In addition, Rita came close to guessing Scott Porter's Gumball correctly when she thought that he might be his Friday Night Lights co-star Taylor Kitsch.

Rita is the perfect replacement for Nicole on The Masked Singer . Not is she only a fantastic detective like Sherlock Scherzy, as Nick nicknamed Nicole, but she's a fabulous entertainer who performed throughout the season as her predecessor did. Rita fit right in with the other ists, which could've been challenging since they were together for ten seasons before her arrival. However, Robin, Jenny, and Ken were so welcoming to her. Nicole is greatly missed, but Rita is doing a phenomenal job. The Masked Singer season 12 is certain to be one of the best yet.
