A new trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 ended with Mickey meeting with Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye), someone accused of murdering a woman named Giselle Dallinger who claimed to know the lawyer. The final scene of the episode reveals the woman to be Gloria Dayton (Fiona Rene), a prostitute who went by the name Glory Days and who testified during Jésus Menendez's case in season 1, and who became the protagonist's friend.
Now, Netflix has released the trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, teasing Mickey dealing with the aftermath of learning Gloria is dead, and her accused murderer wants him to prove his innocence. The trailer teases a potential conspiracy surrounding her murder, with someone trying to frame Julian for the murder. Between a court scene that breaks out into a fight and Mickey coordinating with his team, he's also threatened by an ex-cop who has bad blood with the defense attorney.
The trailer continues by teasing a larger story surrounding Gloria's murder, which is expected to bring plenty of new characters into the forefront. As for his team, the show teases the return of Izzy (Jazz Raycole) despite her no longer being Mickey's driver, and Cisco (Angus Sampson) scouring for clues about the case. The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 is based on The Gods of Guilt, the fifth book in Michael Connelly's book series following Mickey and his cases. While not many concrete details about the potential conspiracy around Gloria's murder have been revealed, it's clear the lawyer is going to be in more danger than ever before by pursuing his defense of Julian. From finding a rattlesnake under his pillow to potentially being watched by someone unknown, it appears there will be major forces at work trying to keep him from figuring out who really killed his friend.

The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 has already been highly anticipated, and it managed to get even more exciting thanks to this character's return.
It also seems the cast of The Lincoln Lawyer consisting of Mickey's team will be more active than ever before in the case, but also in their personal lives. This includes Izzy continuing to follow her dream as a dance instructor, alongside Cisco and Lorna (Becki Newton) getting used to their life after getting married. A more personal story for the main character could also be in the cards, as Neve Campbell is expected to return as his first wife, Maggie Mherson, in a recurring capacity. All these elements could shape the show's most harrowing case so far.
