The Devil's Hour season 2 offers the first look at the return of Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi in the Prime Video supernatural thriller with an almost perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. Jessica Raine, meanwhile, plays the central social worker. Nikesh Patel plays Ravi, a detective with a fear of blood. Ted Lasso's Phil Dunster portrays Mike, Lucy's estranged husband and the father of her son. New cast member and Top Boy actor Saffron Hocking plays Sam Boyd, a sergeant detective.

Having a withdrawn son and other concerns related to her mother as well, Lucy's name is linked to a string of brutal murders, and she's pulled into the hunt for a serial killer.

The Devil's Hour season 1 has an average rating of 7.10/10 based on 20 reviews, and 88% audience approval, on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to the official synopsis for The Devil's Hour season 2, Lucy will have to form a reluctant alliance with Gideon in the hopes of preventing a recurring tragedy and also with the goal of capturing an elusive monster. But as new mysteries unfold, one explosive moment threatens to unleash havoc on the lives of all the characters.

With a cast that also includes Benjamin Chivers, Alex Ferns, Barbara Marten, Thomas Dominique and Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty, The Devil's Hour season 3 has already been filmed.
