Although a few cast are missing, most of a casting update for The Conners revealed that Johnny Galecki's David Healy and two other pivotal characters from the franchise's earlier days would not appear, the main Conner family will remain intact.
There has been widespread speculation about the final season, which starts on March 26, 2025, including whether The Conners will bring back characters such as Alexandra Billings' Robin. Unfortunately, there has been no news about Robin or Crystal (Natalie West) yet. However, The Conners season 7 will introduce some new characters who will interact with the Conner family while helping bring the popular family comedy — and thus the Roseanne franchise — to a satisfying conclusion.

Character: Dan Conner was originally the father of three children in Roseanne, though it was eventually revealed that he had another son, Jerry. The Conners teased a rift between Dan and Jerry but never explained it. Dan is the protagonist of The Conners who is doing his best to keep the family together after Roseanne's death and be a good father to his now-adult children and grandfather to their children. Dan is a good-hearted man who worked as a building contractor. He supposedly died during the original series finale of Roseanne, but Roseanne season 10 retconned this.

- Active Since: 1982

As an adult, Darlene has had several failed relationships, most notably her marriage to her childhood boyfriend, David (Johnny Galecki), which was tumultuous when they were teenagers and even more so as adults. It is unclear whether her relationship with her second husband, Ben, will fare, especially now that The Conners has cast Seth Green as a potential new love interest for Darlene.
Lecy Goranson As Becky Conner
Date of Birth: June 22, 1974
- Active Since: 1995
