Per Deadline, The Cleaning Lady has been canceled by Fox just three months after season 4 premiered. Despite a series of creative shakeups for The Cleaning Lady season 4, ratings were ultimately low, and the show aired its final episode on the network on June 3. It was canceled alongside other struggling shows, including Alert, The Great North, and Accused.

While The Cleaning Lady season 5 could happen in the future if another network or streaming service picks up the show, right now there is no indication that will happen, and it seems like this is it for the series, leaving unresolved plot points that may never be fully paid off.
