As one of the biggest stars in China, she has had hundreds of roles but the one that American audiences will likely be most familiar with is that of Blink, a mutant who can teleport people in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Blink might be considered one of the most underrated Marvel characters but Bingbing's take on the character is remarkable enough to make the name unforgettable. So far, the actress has been in a number of underrated but critically acclaimed movies and hopefully, the lead roles will keep on coming.

Flemyng shines best while playing criminals and it could be argued that his performance in the 2000 Guy Ritchie movie is what made directors trust him with such roles in the future. Kruger's role as the badass German BND agent Marie Schmidt in The 355 is one of the standout performances in the Universal Pictures release. Fans looking to see more of her work can start with the TV show Fringe, where she portrays a test subject named Miranda Green.

Fringe has plenty of ghastly occurrences and Kruger's character finds herself right in the middle of one of them. Miranda is quite an intriguing character and it's a shame she doesn't get to last that long on the show. The role also shows Kruger's range as an actress as she isn't fighting down antagonists here but rather finding herself as an innocent victim.

Ramirez's role in The 355 is Luis Rojas, a DNI agent who obtains the device and has to be tracked down. He also portrays the famous Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace in American Crime Story, a role which earned him an Emmy nomination.

One thing his turn as Versace proves is that Ramirez is at his best when he is composed rather than in frantic moments such as fleeing with dangerous devices. On the anthology TV show, he perfectly brings out both the legendary fashion designer's perfectionist tendencies at work as well as his vulnerability on matters of the heart.

Fargo has hundreds of characters and dozens of moving parts hence it's easy to miss Groth's role but he shows up in the third season and sure does leave a mark with his blunt ruthlessness.  Even better is that Horst only gets to appear a flashback scenes, underscoring a dark era in the history of Europe.

Chief Carter interrogates a suspect in Mare Of Eastown

Thompson appears as the level-headed CIA boss Larry Marks in The 355. He also impresses as the police boss Chief Carter in the drama, Mare Of Eastown.

So far, Thompson has been typecast in authoritative roles but that hasn't necessarily been a bad thing since he always executes the job perfectly. What makes his characters so impressive is that they always take a laid-back approach. In both The 355 and Mare of Eastown, his characters simply issue a few directives then take a back seat, allowing those in the central roles to prosper.
