Ralph Breaks the Internet is a fun movie with a valuable message about friendship, however I feel like all the meme and internet references, although funny now, keep this movie from being a timeless classic. I don't think it's a bad movie, but it lacks the charm and wit of the first film.

The concept for this film could've been so interesting and a great way to adapt the franchise for the modern era. However, the story is a lot weaker than the first one which leaves the whole film feeling like a plug for different Disney IPs. It's entertaining enough, but will be a movie that you can't rewatch much because of how dated the internet references will become.

The animation equivalent of the MCU's parade of "Hey, it's that guy!" cameos, popping around a visualization of the internet to include the popular apps of the day, as well as memes and references. It's never sure what it wants to say about the internet, whether good or bad, as it splits up the party and Ralph and Vanellope each have their own separate plots.
