  • I don't think this guy has a clue. And just because he is a Terrible person doesn't mean the rest of us.Are or our heroes

  • This is probably my favorite movie in the new trilogy. Has some fascinating ideas about the force and the legacy of the franchise as a whole. Worst part about the movie is that there wasn't a proper follow-up. Could have been something special. I like Luke's arc a lot.

  • The perfect Star Wars movie for someone who doesn't particularly like Star Wars movies. From its spectacular opening bombing run to its lightsaber duel finale, Rian Johnson's film treats the franchise's title literally - it's a war movie that just so happens to be set among the stars. It's a smart, sincere movie with something to say, albeit one that clashes tonally and narratively with what came before and after.

  • In a world of sequels and reboots that retread where we've already been, Rian Johnson had the audacity to try something new with the Star Wars universe, actually go in an unexpected direction, and everyone hated it. It had beautiful visuals, character development, and exciting action that furthered the story, rather than just checking off a box. If the next movie had taken the baton and run with it, the sequel trilogy could've been even better than the originals. However, somehow, Palpatine returned.

  • This is a little slow and by no means a perfect movie, but I have the somewhat unpopular opinion of liking the last Jedi! It's definitely the best character arc for Rey for the modern 3, and looks fantastic visually. Probably deserves a revisit from some of the haters.
