Square Enix is teaming up with TBS Television, a Tokyo-based network known for Ninja Warrior, to launch a new original video game IP worldwide.

Square Enix is known chiefly for its storied RPG classic franchises that are still in circulation, such as Dragon Quest (originally Dragon Warrior in the U.S.) and the more popular Final Fantasy, which has sub-franchises that have broken off into media juggernauts like Final Fantasy VII.
