  • Of the Scream movies, I think most fans will agree that Scream 3 is the weakest of the bunch. It's not a bad horror movie by any means, but it feels like this installment leans too far into the camp at some moments, taking you out of the scenes a little bit. The killer reveal also feels a stretch too far, but that doesn't make it hard to enjoy it and feel a sense of catharsis in the end, that Sidney is finally going to be able to put this part of her life behind her. Of course, there ends up being more sequels, but fans could see this as a complete trilogy if they really wanted to.

  • Scream 3 was toned down considerably due to the Columbine shooting, but still features gnarly kills and an absurdly fun cast of characters. The meta oozes throughout this one, as the series comes full circle about a third film in the franchise that is the third film. It's the weakest of Craven's Scream films, but still a great time.
