WHERE TO WATCH

Reviews(2)

  • Scorsese in his best years, directing De Niro in his best years. It doesn't get much better than this. Scorsese loves a story about a tough, violent man who has Feelings inside, and this was the blueprint he would follow many, many (perhaps too many) more times.

  • One of Scorsese's best movies. Robert De Niro gave his all for his role as boxer Jake Lamotta and it shows. The acting of De Niro as well as the ing players like Cathy Moriarty as Jake's wife and Joe Pesci as Jake's brother are all out of this world. It can be hard to watch because the main character is so unlikable and definitely unsympathetic, which will be a deterrent to some who debate watching it but the movie is so good in my opinion that I think it's worth a watch.
