  • People need to stop hating on this movie so much. It succeeds in a lot of ways, but is only let down by the action compared to the absolute mastery of stuntwork in the original trilogy. It has interesting things to say about nostalgia and fandom and legacy sequels. Really thought the ending was quite touching. Matrix was always a love story.

  • I had mixed feelings after watching "The Matrix Resurrections.” Although I appreciate the nostalgic elements and the return of Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves, I felt like the plot was convoluted and didn't really capture the magic of the original trilogy.  It would have been better to focus on a single storyline rather than juggling various sophisticated threads, which make it hard to follow. Nonetheless, the movie’s exploration of modern themes and bold, self-aware approach made it intriguing.

  • Apparently an essential piece of storytelling standing before the 2026 Matrix movie. Action is constant and fast. Matrix philosophy voiced nearly real time along with action sequences. True to the original Matrix Trilogy.

  • As a newcomer to the Matrix having just got into the movies ahead of Resurrection, I enjoy this fourth chapter. It doesn't feel like an undoing of Revolutions, and instead builds on the limitless possibility of what could have been while providing a fascination meta look at the modern legacy sequel trends. Everyone slips effortlessly back into their roles, and the new additions are welcome expansions and reinterpretations, and, had this been the end, Ressurections would have been a perfect epilogue.
