  • While I felt Jurassic World was fine, this was where the series lost my investment. It had promise, but I find Owen a bit of a dull protagonist, and I feel the more interesting elements, the fall of Isla Nublar, dino relocation, and the worldwide implications are cut short for a extension of the Indominus stuff and a cloning subplot that feels unneeded, overly complex, and in the end pointless to the overall series.

  • I thought this film was just okay, nowhere near as great as the first Jurassic World. In this film, the theme park from the first film is destroyed, and the dinosaurs are on the loose. Seeing the dinosaurs up close and in action was a very cool part of this film, but I felt the action just wasn't as intense as it was in the original Jurassic World. I also didn't enjoy the ending, it felt a little rushed and like what happened only occurred that way to set the stage for another movie.

  • Oh, how the kingdom has fallen. Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt simply don't show up for a movie that thinks dinosaurs running wild simply aren't interesting enough.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a fun ride full of adventure - and scares - that builds on the mythology of Jurassic Park in very interesting ways.
