  • Inside Llewyn Davis is much less of a comedy than some other Coen Brothers films, but it is no less fantastic. This film works incredibly well, between the music, cinematography, and lead performances. Adam Driver is a highlight of this, and I actually think one of his most underappreciated roles.

  • This is a quiet, thoughtful, slowly paced film from the Coen brothers, but that doesn't necessarily make it great. The actors are excellent, and there's a nice cat in it, so great points for that. But it didn't stay with me the same way some of their other films have. If you ever need to get a song stuck in your head, look up "Dear Mr. Kennedy" from this film.
