Though it doesn't age particularly well in some areas, Grease manages to sweep you up in an enjoyable time with every viewing, with some of the best musical numbers put to screen. The characters are easy to love and get invested in, and it feels rebelliously optimistic, as these kids take their steps into adulthood beyond the walls of Rydale.

Used to watch Grease on VHS all the time as a kid. Love this movie and it has some of the best songs in any musical for me. Didn't understand a lot of the adult situations when I was younger but watching it as an adult makes it even better. Grease is the word.

It is a classic film, but it really does not age well in many ways. "Grease Lightning" will never stop being iconic, but that does not help that the messaging about women is not the strongest.
