  • Watched movie I'm x marine 20yr military. Apparently writers don't know the military community and preppers. In short DC would of been disarmed.

  • Missed opportunity; especially in this age of divisiveness.

  • I was breathtakingly bored. All of the characters were one dimensional with no growth. If anything the movie highlighted how journalists are, in reality, terrible people with a fetish for pain and misery.

  • Seriously... there were some well thought-out parts of the storyline and some NOT so well thought-out! Let's start with the alliance between CA & TX...!

Only in a fantasy flix could that happen.

The scene with Jesse Plemons was excellent! The suspense there was superb... until Sammy somehow got the drop on that outfit by driving the Surburban across an open field without the gunmen noticing until it was 15 ft away! Comeon!!! But that's the problem with this movie... the scene was the best scene in the storyline. All the other scenes were a re-tread of so many other civilian v. combat movies!! And when Lee pushes Jessie out of harms way.... jeepers how corny was that? Not a bit of lessons learned there...! Some scenery looked to be swiped from so many other zombie~apocalyptic films. Both Durnst & Wagner did the best they could with subpar dialog they had to work with.

  • Thought it wasn't a bad movie, considering it's budget and had the director taken a side, would have alienated half the country. Some points of the conflict didn't make much sense, like a shootout early on, afterwards they hauled the losing side out and executed them. Likewise it seemed silly to be playing daycare with the would-be joirnalist, which would eventually cost lives. In the end you do have to wonder, if the president became that delusional, would our own government follow blindly, or listen to reason.
