  • Cars 3 is not only an entertaining animated film for kids, but it is also a go-to for adults. The film's mentorship, embracing change, and perseverance themes resonate with people of all ages. The film made me smile with its humor(especially the unconventional training methods used by Cruz Ramirez) and feel emotional during Lightning McQueen's journey of self-discovery and ing the torch to Cruz Ramirez. This is one of those Pixar films that I believe will remain relevant over time because its messages about growth and resilience are timeless

  • This might sound wild, but I like Cars 2 a bit so this newest installment felt like a bit of a let down for some reason. Might need to go back and rewatch it, though as I like the Cars franchise overall. Think it is playing with some interesting ideas and I like the direction they took Lightning but it just wasn't that engaging for me.

  • Cars 3 had gorgeous animation and the most high-stakes plot of any Cars movie yet. Although it lacks the nostalgia and charm of the first Cars movie, it is an exciting lesson on trying your best and working hard, as well as a completion of Lightning McQueen's character arc.

Cars 3 Review
6/10

Cars 3 offers more heartfelt storytelling and rich animation than its predecessor, yet falls short of raising the bar for the Cars franchise.
