Batman Forever isn't by any measure a good movie, and it's rightly ed poorly for squandering the very specific tone and aesthetic of Burton's earlier movies. However, for younger viewers there's a propulsiveness and gaudiness that's better than boring - something that can't be said of every Batman film.

My all-time favorite Batman film, alongside Batman 89, Batman Returns, and Batman & Robin. That film is the more definitive one, with Val Kilmer playing Batman. The best one in the franchise.

I really really like this movie. Think it captures the inner turmoil of Bruce Wayne very well. Val Kilmer made an excellent Batman and Jim Carrey's Riddler was absurdly over the top in a great way. Wish Tommy Lee Jones hadn't tried to match his freak. A darker Two-Face to contrast the Riddler would have been epic.
