A Bugs Life can get buried by Pixar's later features, but holds up remarkably well and deserves more recognition. It's a familiar tale, following the Seven Samurai model, but enduring with lovable characters, a despicable villain, and truly creative depictions of how a world smaller than ours could operate.

This was one of my favorite movies when it came out. The characters are quirky and lovable. The visuals are captivating. Plus, the movie sends important messages about the power of the working class, the dangers of capitalism, and the difference between what's right and what's easy.

A thoroughly charming kids movie! I think it gets largely forgotten within a lot of the Pixar oeuvre, but it really is a fantastic film visually and in of voice acting and a lot else. Much better than copycats like Antz.
