The one-minute-long preview features the final five players, with a voice-over from host Jeff Probst, who proved that the finale would be "a big night here in Fiji." Then the preview cuts to Mitch, who claimed that "hearts are going to be broken." Jeff then teased that the finale would contain two challenges, two tribal councils and "one fire-making showdown."
Another shot shows Joe comforting Eva as she cries, and Joe said that her emotions made him feel like he "needed to protect" her. "You just can't get caught."
In yet another clip, Joe says, "We got away with a pretty good heist," as the camera cuts to Kamilla with her eyes wide. Jeff walks before the players in a challenge and barks, "You're exhausted mentally, physically, emotionally." The clip ends with a male voice saying, "It's electric. It's adrenaline, fear, anticipation, and it's happening right now."
X Predicts Survivor Final Three
Final Three Is "Likely" Eva, Kamilla, and Kyle
On May 17, an X who goes by Demi shared her theories on who will make it to the final three on Survivor season 48 by breaking down each shot in the official finale preview shared on YouTube. In one post, she said that based on the players visible in a shot, Mitch is eliminated fifth. In another post, Demi claimed that, "if Joe won final 5 immunity, that means… Kamilla wins final 4 immunity." In another post, Demi deduced that Kamilla "sends Joe and Eva into fire making," which she shared with two shots of Joe and Eva.
Based on her research, Demi declares that "the final three consist of - Kamilla - Kyle - Eva or Joe." Demi shared another shot of what she believes is the final five immunity challenge, and ends her thread by saying, "that’s everything confirmed, but I’m gonna predict Joe throws the fire making comp to Eva. Meaning the final three is likely Eva, Kamilla, and Kyle."
