In Action Comics #1062 by Jason Aaron and John Timms, Metropolis is quickly going to hell after into Bizarro versions of themselves. Superman struggles to fight back against the Bizarro Wave, but he can feel himself changing from within.

While Metropolis is placed under quarantine, Batman keeps Superman abreast of how the Bizarro Wave is affecting things and drops a huge bomb on the Man of Steel: Bizarro's spell has managed to turn Doctor Fate into a Bizarro, forcing Zatanna and Madame Xanadu to keep him in check.

Bizarro's Magic is So Powerful it Converted Doctor Fate

Bizarro isn't often a serious villain, but he lost control and saw red when the Bizarro World went missing. In his fury to find his home, Bizarro crashed into the Sorcerer's World, demanding answers. Fate is the greatest agent of the Lords of Order and in theory, is one of the strongest magic s short of the Spectre. But Bizarro's upgrade has done the impossible and turned Fate into a Bizarro. One can imagine what kind of chaos he could cause if he didn't have other powerful magic s keeping him in check. But if Bizarro is more powerful than Fate now, what does this mean for Superman's newly empowered nemesis?

There's no shortage of magic threats in the DCU with villains like Felix Faust or Eclipso. But few of them have been able to conjure up a spell that's taken a hero as mighty as Fate off the board. If Bizarro's upgrade is permanent, there's no limit to what he could do next. Sure, this time he decided to turn Earth into a Bizarro World, but he could come up with something even more destructive if he wished it.
