The Alpha Naytiba Tachy is the eighth boss you encounter in Stellar Blade that you must beat throughout three intense phases. This former partner turned enemy is a cold and calculating opponent, making them very different from the aggressive bosses you have already faced. Only by paying attention to Tachy's movements and patterns will you have a chance at overcoming this relentless boss.
Tachy is fought in Matrix 11 at the end of the "Alpha Signal" quest after you've already faced other enemies like the Juggernaut. Equip your best gear in preparation for this fight since it is a hefty challenge signifying the end of this story section. Items that make Perfect Dodge or Perfect Parry easier and anything that increases your max health in Stellar Blade are good tools to use.
General Strategies For Fighting Tachy
Be Prepared For Different Tricks
Unlike many other bosses, Tachy takes a defensive approach to fight EVE, so be aggressive toward the start of the fight to land some hits before the boss begins to act. Be careful though, as this strategy is used by Tachy to lure you into a false sense of security before they strike. When Tachy chooses to attack, their moves do far more damage than other enemies if you aren't prepared to parry or dodge.
As you can see in a video by Direct Gaming, you need to pay attention to whether Tachy performs a normal attack or an unblockable strike. Whenever the boss glows yellow, this indicates that their next attack cannot be guarded or parried. The arena for this fight can make the color yellow hard to spot if you are caught off guard, so make sure to be ready to use a Perfect Dodge whenever you see Tachy glow this way.
Performing a Perfect Dodge or Parry at the right time will cause Tachy to slow down, giving you the perfect chance to deal uncontested damage to the boss while it recovers.
Burst Skills are some of the best moves to use in this boss fight due to their invincibility and the stagger effect they can have on Tachy. Being able to knock down Tachy will give you a rare opportunity to wear down their shields, reducing the boss' defenses for the rest of the fight. Make sure you explore everywhere you can farm enough SP in Stellar Blade to unlock the strongest Burst Skills available.
How To Defeat Tachy (Phase 1)
Learn The Timing Of Various Strikes
The first phase of the Tachy fight is methodical, with the boss slowly circling you before making fast, decisive attacks that can be hard to predict. Most of the time, you won't have a lot of time to prepare for every attack since Tachy uses a variety of quick stabs and slashes to damage EVE. to wait and see what color the boss glows before they strike to adapt to new moves you see in Stellar Blade.

Description |
How To Counter |
Deadly Slash Combo |
Tachy glows red before swinging their massive sword once. Afterward, the boss jumps back before leaping forward and slashing their weapon horizontally four more times. The final attack is unblockable as Tachy glows yellow, then blue. |
Perform a Perfect Parry in Stellar Blade against the first hit. Try to do the same for the following three strikes, but use a Blink dodge to avoid the final attack. |
Quick Stab |
After holding their shield and sword close, Tachy stabs forward with incredible speed and follows up the first lunge with a horizontal slash covering a wide area. |
Recognize the start-up for this attack and Parry both strikes quickly with the right timing. |
Precise Swipe |
Tachy raises their sword above their shield before swiping at EVE with a diagonal slash. |
Parry this move to stagger Tachy slightly, giving you a chance to strike back. |
Dodge & Slice |
Tachy jumps to the right, slashing their sword while doing so. This attack is followed up by a quick overhead vertical slash and another horizontal swipe back to back. |
Parry as soon as you see Tachy leap to the side, then find the right timing to Parry the next two strikes. |
Charged Strikes |
Leaning back and charging their attack, Tachy unleashes a quick double horizontal slash before charging up for a final devastating strike. |
Do not be confused by the delay in timing for the last hit of this attack and Parry everything accordingly. |
Deceitful Lunge |
Tachy pulls their sword back, glowing yellow, before charging forward and slashing the area around themselves close to wherever EVE happens to be. |
Wait until Tachy is almost upon you, then use a Perfect Dodge to avoid getting hit. |
How To Defeat Tachy (Phase 2)
Stay Mobile And Relentless
When Tachy's health reaches around 75%, they will sprout one huge, mechanical wing that signals the transition into the second phase of the fight. This appendage makes Tachy much faster than before and gives them several new moves that you need to adapt to as you continue to face attacks from the first phase. While a well-timed Parry was crucial before, being able to Dodge is more important at this stage of the battle.

How To Counter |
One-Winged Slash Combo |
Tachy glows red before unleashing a barrage of five diagonal swipes with their sword. The boss takes a pause after the first two hits and before the last swing, where they glow yellow and blue. |
The first four attacks can be Parried with the right timing. However, the last hit is unblockable, so perform a Blink to avoid taking damage from it. |
Ringed Blades |
After glowing yellow and shooting energy into their weapon, Tachy launches a series of slashing projectiles that travel across the arena. |
Run to the side to avoid each slash, but keep in mind that Tachy only uses this move when you are far away from the boss. |
Counter Strike |
When you attack Tachy too much, the boss will perform a Parry that leaves you staggering for a quick follow-up attack while glowing purple. |
You aren't vulnerable during Tachy's follow-up attack from the counter, so use a Repulse strike to teleport behind the boss and stay on the offensive. |
At any point when you make a Repulse attack against Tachy, they will be left staggered with a glowing yellow weak point on their upper shoulder. Shoot the weak point with your drone's gun in ranged mode to quickly deal a lot of damage while the boss is like that. Although you may be caught up in Stellar Blade's action-packed spectacle, you need to take advantage of any weaknesses Tachy has.
How To Defeat Tachy (Phase 3)
Keep Up The Pressure And Acheive Victory
The final phase begins when Tachy is dropped to 45% health and grows a second wing to increase the boss' mobility even more. A short cutscene transitions you and Tachy to another arena, but this one is the same size as the other two phases. However, it may seem smaller as Tachy uses their increased speed to fly around the battlefield, making it difficult for you to respond to new attacks.

Attack |
Description |
How To Counter |
Angelic Flurry |
Similar to the One-Winged Slash Combo in phase 2, Tachy slashes their sword multiple times to try and hit EVE. This time, the combo lasts for six strikes, with Tachy glowing red at first, then blue for the last attack. |
Parry the first five strikes and pay attention to the gap between the fourth slash and the leaping strike for the fifth attack. When Tachy glows blue, use a Blink to get away. |
Ringed Blades |
Tachy glows yellow before flying into the air, launching three Ringed Blade projectiles like in phase 2. After this, Tachy lunges forward with a fast stab. |
Run to either side to avoid the projectiles, then use a Perfect Dodge to avoid the lunging strike. |
Heaven's Strike |
Once again, Tachy glows yellow before flying away. After a moment, the boss stabs downward into the ground near EVE, releasing a shockwave of energy around the spot where they landed. |
Wait to dodge until a couple of moments after Tachy goes into the air. Make sure to run away from the point of impact to avoid damage from the shockwave. |
Teleporting Grab |
Tachy teleports toward EVE before glowing blue and trying to grab you for unblockable damage. This grab is attempted twice in a row. |
Perform a Blink teleport to avoid getting grabbed and to deal automatic damage to the boss. |
This phase begins with Tachy regaining their shields, so carefully look for ways to continue your assault without exposing yourself to the boss' new attacks. Endure every new move and adapt to each strike to eventually beat the evolving enemy Tachy in Stellar Blade and gain a lot of money and SP as a reward for your efforts.
