During the "Alpha Signal" mission in Stellar Blade, you'll encounter a powerful boss called the Juggernaut, whose giant hammer makes them a difficult opponent to beat. This Elite Naytiba enemy is the seventh major boss you face in the game as you explore the Matrix 11 area. You'll have to overcome the physical might of the Juggernaut over two intense phases to earn some rewards and progress through the quest.
Exploring open areas and farming SP in Stellar Blade may be a good idea before starting the "Alpha Signal" mission to prepare yourself for the eventual battle. With enough resources, you can upgrade EVE to gain new skills or abilities that could be incredibly useful against the Juggernaut. Taking time between quests to grow stronger will ensure you don't always struggle against the next boss you face.

Stellar Blade Review: “An Action-Packed Marvel"
Stellar Blade borrows the right elements from its contemporaries and infuses exhilarating combat to deliver a linear marvel for PlayStation fans.
General Strategies Against The Juggernaut
Understand This Enemy's Every Weakness
One of the first strategies you should use against the Juggernaut is to stay at mid-range while fighting the boss in Stellar Blade. This keeps you just out of reach of the boss' massive hammer, a weapon that can easily damage EVE if you remain too close. As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Elbethium, staying mobile at this range will always give you enough room to strike whenever you get the chance.
Shock grenades are great for staggering the Juggernaut, sometimes knocking the boss down for a good amount of time when used to interrupt their attacks. Try to stock up on these items before starting the mission where this boss is found as you explore Stellar Blade's expansive region maps. Try to use these grenades early in the fight to build up Beta Energy at the start of the battle while the Juggernaut is down.
Another way to stagger the Juggernaut besides shock grenades is to land Repulse strikes against it. This can only be done when the boss ends one of its strikes and glows purple, so be ready to perform this technique when this happens.
Do not underestimate the speed of the Juggernaut, nor assume that the boss' bulk makes them a slow opponent in Stellar Blade. As you try to find windows to shoot the Juggernaut with your drone's gun, make sure the enemy is not performing an attack that can easily chase EVE down while you stand still to open fire. When you do find room to shoot, use Shotgun or Slug ammo to make the greatest impact on the boss.
How To Defeat The Juggernaut (Phase 1)
Watch And Adapt To Each Attack Carefully
The first phase of the fight with the Juggernaut is a standard brawl, where the boss uses heavy physical attacks and surprisingly agile movements to attack EVE. During this part of the battle, closely watch the boss to see the color of its attacks. For example, some moves may glow yellow and need to be dodged, while others can be countered using a Perfect Parry in Stellar Blade when they glow red.

How To Counter |
Triple Shock Wave |
At the start of the fight, the Juggernaut slams its hammer into the ground three times in a row, creating a shockwave each time in a straight line that deals damage on . |
Run to the side or perform a Perfect Dodge as the shockwave gets close to you. |
Double Swing |
The Juggernaut glows yellow before swinging its hammer in front of itself horizontally. After a brief moment to recover, the boss swings its weapon again without glowing. |
Parry the first attack to interrupt the rest of this move. If you can't stop the first strike, move away to avoid the second. |
Sliding Uppercut |
The Juggernaut drags its hammer across the ground before swinging it upward in a devastating uppercut. |
Land a Parry or Perfect Parry on this attack to give EVE a small window to strike back against the boss. |
Shove |
When EVE is close, the Juggernaut uses the hilt of its hammer to quickly push you away. |
This move is incredibly fast, but you can still Parry it if you're ready. Simply moving away can also help you dodge this attack. |
Wind-Up Slam |
Without glowing any color, the Juggernaut swings its hammer before preparing another overhead strike. While doing the second part of this move, the boss glows purple. |
Dodge or Parry the first swing, then unleash a Repulse strike the second you see the boss glow purple. |
Charged Slam |
The Juggernaut raises its hammer over its head while glowing blue before slamming the weapon into the ground in an attack you cannot guard. |
When you see the boss glow blue, immediately use a Blink dodge to teleport behind it and land a free attack. |

How To Defeat The Juggernaut (Phase 2)
Avoid The Fire From Its Hammer
When the Juggernaut's health reaches around 70%, it will use the surrounding oil from the boss arena to set its hammer on fire. Not even with improvements to EVE's max health in Stellar Blade will you be able to take more than a couple of hits from the hammer while it burns you for extra damage on each attack. For this phase, try to wait for the boss' moves to finish rather than interrupting them to find your opportunity to retaliate.
to take out the Juggernaut's shields during the first phase to ensure your attacks deal extra damage while the boss' defenses are down.

Attack |
Description |
How To Counter |
Improved Sliding Uppercut |
The Juggernaut performs the same Sliding Uppercut attack from phase 1, but this time they glow yellow before following up the move with an unblockable swing of the hammer. |
Once again, try to Parry the first strike with the right timing. However, use a Perfect Dodge to avoid the follow-up swing. |
Fire Swing Combo |
After glowing red, the Juggernaut swings its flaming hammer five times in quick succession. |
This continuous combo does a ton of damage to your shields if you block them all, so try to Parry all five attacks. |
Leaping Slam |
The Juggernaut glows yellow, then jumps into the air before slamming its hammer into the ground near EVE. |
Perform a Perfect Dodge right as the Juggernaut lands with this attack. |
Hammer Eruption |
Lifting its hammer, the Juggernaut charges the weapon with more fire before slamming it into the ground, creating a circular AoE of flames around the strike. |
Dodge the hammer as it strikes or move away from the boss as you see this attack starting. |
Adapting to every attack and finding windows to strike back against the boss will eventually let you take down its health and trigger a quick time event leading to the enemy's defeat. EVE earns money and SP when you beat the Juggernaut in Stellar Blade, giving you resources to spend on new gear and upgrades for the next challenging opponent you'll face.
