6 Twisted Towers Combines BioShock Aesthetics With A FNAF-Esque Setting

Release Date Coming Soon

What if BioShock took place in an abandoned version of Disneyland? Then you might get something like Twisted Towers from developer Atmos Games and Duke Nukem publisher 3D Realms. Twisted Towers has the aesthetics of BioShock's Rapture, applied to a Disney-like theme park, in a bid to pull in both fans of the classic shooter and the popular mascot horror of Five Nights at Freddy's. The game's setting, the titular Twisted Towers, is even located on the water, allowing the game to begin very similarly to BioShock but without the shipwreck.

The demo drops players into the perspective of Tiny, an ex-soldier in 1946 who's lost his betrothed to another man while he was away at war. An invitation to win riches beyond his wildest imagination has the character heading out to a strange amusement park in the hopes of winning his love back. The game takes place throughout the different levels of the decrepit park, haunted by creepy enemies, level designs, and jump scares (which are nearly eclipsed by the incredibly satisfying way you can pop balloons and pumpkins with the swing of your mallet).

2 Wanderstop Is A Narrative Cozy Game "About Change And Tea"

Releases March 11, 2025

The adorably cozy-looking Wanderstop may seem like a hug in the form of a game, but the dev team behind it means that there's bound to be more to this title than meets the eye. Wanderstop is published by Annapurna Interactive and developed by Ivy Road, a small team of indie developers who have collectively worked on games like The Stanley Parable and Gone Home.

In Wanderstop, players take control of the fallen warrior Alta, who's placed in charge of a tea shop she doesn't want. As Alta serves up concoctions to travelers, she'll have to grow her own ingredients, come up with recipes, and decorate the shop and its surroundings.

But don't be fooled by the vibrant colors and whimsical characters; it's clear within a few seconds of starting the demo that this game deals with unexpectedly dark and difficult themes. The title seems to hit the balance between whimsy and serious storytelling just right, and players won't have to wait too long before they can play the full game on its release day, March 11.

1 Mecha BREAK Lets Players Engage In Gundam-Style Multiplayer Battles

Releases In 2025

Mecha BREAK lets players pilot Gundam-style giant mechs into three different game modes: 3v3 death match, 6v6 team battles, or PvPvE extraction challenges, where no one is safe. In addition to the dynamic and chaotic battles, the game also gives players an impressive level of control over the look of their machine and its pilot and opens up opportunities to remake some popular designs and characters in the game.
