Stardew Valley may already be a massive game littered with secrets but players who have already explored every inch of Pelican Town should check out this unofficial expansion. As Stardew Valley nears its tenth anniversary, the community is still dedicated to growing the expansive Farming RPG with custom content. Players have managed to take the already excellent game and make it their own with unique add-ons that refine and tweak the experience, but dedicated fans often take their game to the next level with DLC-sized mods.
Over on Nexus Mods, creators skellady and sophiesalacia shared their incredible Stardew Valley mod "Sunberry Village," a new town that's filled with 17 NPCs, 80 events, a wealth of stories and plotlines, and even shops filled with extra goodies for one's farm. The gigantic expansion encourages players to explore the location of Sunberry Village which includes its own museum, Special Order board, and even a cat cafe. There are dozens of items to unlock and even new mines with "multiple levels and different biomes" to discover.
Sunberry Village Is An Impressive Feat
Perfect For Players Wanting A Little More
At first glance, players might easily mistake "Sunberry Village" as how one plays Stardew Valley.
While "Sunberry Valley" is available in its entirety, the creators have already confirmed that there's new content planned for the coming weeks. Before the end of March, s can expect the addition of two additional NPCs with a couple more planned to release in April. It's staggering that such a project is available for free but players who feel like ing the Sunberry Village team can do so through Ko-Fi.

Stardew Valley Is Undefeatable
Almost A Decade Old And Still Going
By encouraging the Stardew Valley community to make the game their own, ConcernedApe has allowed his creation to take on a life of its own. I ire a creator who's willing to allow others to use their work and build upon it to make something even bigger; It's certainly refreshing in a time when publishers are more and more restrictive with how players interact with their games. ConcernedApe is a testament to the fact that when a developer respects and appreciates their community, they only stand to succeed.
