Stardew Valley's romance option lineup is missing a potentially superior choice. With the current 12 bachelors and bachelorettes of Pelican Town being around since the early days of the popular farming simulator, some characters that players desire to romance are currently unavailable to do so. One character in particular stands out as a compelling choice for an ideal romance option.

Expanding Stardew Valley's romance options would be a great update to the game, as wooing the candidates has become one of its most popular mechanics. The romanceable characters contain in-depth love stories, allowing players to learn more about their lives and personalities. One villager's overall character and story would become more fleshed out and interesting if they became an available romance option.

Romancing The Wizard in Stardew Valley Would Be Magical

M. Rasmodius Should Become Romanceable

The village wizard, also known as M. Rasmodius, is a character who mostly stays in his Wizard's Tower alone with his arcane studies. The Wizard does not have normal Heart Events like other villagers, so not too much is known about his personal life or backstory. His potential to become a romance option for the player would transform him from a magical hermit to a mysterious charmer, adding to a promising character that seems to be left unappreciated.

The Wizard would stand out among other bachelors, as there are opportunities to allow the player to have a more magical life with an arcane partner. Throughout the game, players get a taste of the magic that inhabits Stardew Valley, which modders have liked to expand to flesh out a magic system. Having the Wizard be romanceable would make room for those opportunities for the vanilla version of the game, with him possibly entrusting the player with his knowledge and teaching them spells.

Rasmodius' Potential To Provide An Enchanting Life

How The Wizard Would Work As A Romance Option

The bachelor version of Rasmodius has the potential to be a mysterious and alluring type of romance candidate. The Wizard could be comparable to Baldur's Gate 3's romance path for Gale, where part of his charm comes from being the book-smart yet captivating kind of partner. Having the Wizard open up more to a player through a romance would develop a stronger personality and display a romantic side, becoming a mystically loving character.

The Wizard of Stardew Valley has the capability of playing a larger role in the player's game by bringing a touch of magic to farm life. With the hopes that ConcernedApe will turn the Wizard into a romance option in the game's future, there is potential for a new charmer to win the heart of the farmer. Adding more personality and a desire to share magical knowledge through a romance path would flesh out his character more, resulting in a new candidate for fan-favorite option in Stardew Valley.
