LEGO has revealed a brand-new Cal Kestis minifigure. The popular Order 66 survivor from EA's Jedi games, Cal Kestis is the lead playable protagonist who resists the Empire with his allies during its early years. To that end, it's very exciting to see the beloved Jedi Knight receiving the brick-built treatment for the very first time.
LEGO's new Cal Kestis minifigure is a special bonus character celebrating The LEGO Group's 25 years with Star Wars, its first sets having been released in 1999. To that end, Cal Kestis will be included in the Imperial Star Destroyer (75394), a new model of the classic Imperial ship that will also come with its collection of minifigures as well. The first official images of the model can be viewed below:

While appearing to be somewhat smaller than the last play-scale iteration of the Imperial Star Destroyer (75055) from 2014, this new version does have more pieces with a count of 1,555 compared to the earlier model's 1,359. It also appears to have some updated design featured and extra detailing which is exciting to see as well. Furthermore, the price-to-piece also feels reasonable with the model currently on pre-order for $160. However, the major selling point for collectors will undoubtedly be the exclusive Cal Kestis minifigure.

Star Wars Movies In Order: How To Watch Release Order, Chronologically & With The TV Shows
What's the best way to watch Star Wars? Here's everything you need to know to watch in release or timeline order, and how to include the TV shows.
Cal Kestis Is The Fourth Official 25th-Anniversary Figure
Though He May Be The Coolest
Cal Kestis is the fourth addition to the 25th-anniversary LEGO Star Wars line-up. ARC Trooper Fives, Darth Malak, and Saw Gerrera make up the previous three, and each of them is available for purchase on LEGO.com with Boarding the Tantive IV (75387), R2-D2 (75389), and Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator (75383). However, it's safe to assume that Cal will likely be the most highly sought-after character on the roster thus far.
At the moment, the only LEGO Star Wars set inspired by EA's Jedi games is 2022's BD-1 (75335), depicting Cal's loyal droid companion in a nearly 1:1 scale build. Likewise, there have yet to be any reports or rumors of any future Jedi sets where a Cal Kestis might be obtained beyond this Star Destroyer, making this new minifigure even more valuable. To that end, one can imagine that this new model's pre-orders won't be available for long prior to its August 1st release.
LEGO Already Teased Cal Kestis In A Special Promo Video
Featured In The Crowd Celebrating 25 Years
It's also fun to point out that LEGO did already tease Cal Kestis in a special animated promo video they released celebrating LEGO's 25 years with the galaxy far, far away. Featuring the iconic Jedi survivor in a few shots, LEGO also teased figures who are rumored to be featured in sets that have yet to officially release such as Ahsoka's Ezra Bridger and a young Leia from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. At any rate, there's no doubt that Cal Kestis will be a highly coveted minifigure when he releases alongside Imperial Star Destroyer (75394) in August.
