Both Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Obi-Wan Kenobi take place during the same time period, which could lead to characters from Kenobi appearing in the sequel of Jedi: Fallen Order. One of the main concepts of Star Wars is that the Force guides actions and events, and, according to some in the series, nothing happens by coincidence. A number of significant characters in Kenobi may make an appearance in Jedi: Survivor as Cal's next big adventure unfolds.
Many fans may expect to see Obi-Wan in the sequel to Fallen Order since Jedi: Survivor's place on the Star Wars timeline coincides with the Jedi Master's ongoing series. If this is the case, then the reverse may also be true, and fans may see Cal Kestis in Kenobi as well. Cameron Monaghan is not only the character model for Cal, but he's also the voice, and Monaghan is known for his roles in popular shows like Shameless and Gotham. With that live-action experience in mind, it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine Cal Kestis showing up in a future Star Wars series - maybe even in Kenobi itself.
Currently, no character from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been featured in Obi-Wan Kenobi. The events of Fallen Order take place five years before Kenobi's series, which is situated in 9 BBY (or nine years before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope). However, multiple Inquisitors who serve Vader in Star Wars have been featured in both Kenobi and Fallen Order, though no member of the Inquistitorius has been included in both. Additionally, it has now been confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will have a five-year time jump, meaning it too will take place in 9 BBY. This opens up the door for some crossover between the two stories, which both focus on fugitive Jedi on the run from the Empire.
The Main Organas From Kenobi Have To Be In Jedi: Survivor
The most recognizable of House Organa are Bail, Breha, and Leia. During the time of Kenobi and Jedi: Survivor, Bail Organa is a representative of Alderaan in the Galatic Senate while opposing the Empire in secrecy. Breha is the planet's queen and Leia, in the time of Kenobi, is an academic student with a bright future in politics. In the first episode of Kenobi, Leia is captured by bounty hunters employed by the Third Sister of the Inquisitorius.
Cal's future in Jedi: Survivor may be partially influenced by his experience with the Imperial Inquisition in Fallen Order, specifically his victory over both the Second and Ninth Sisters. While additional Inquisitors were not sent after Cal in the game, he did survivor an encounter against Darth Vader completely unscathed. It's within reason to expect Vader to task the Grand Inquisitor with finding Cal Kestis, and the Jedi's experience with them may have reached the ears of Bail Organa. Kenobi has already shown that both Bail and Breha are willing to risk everything to protect Leia, so it's possible that the Organa's will seek Cal's help if a similar situation with the Inquisition happens again.
Given Bail's familiarity with of the Jedi Order, it's even possible that Cere Junda and the senator know one another. Although the Jedi: Survivor trailer teased Cal's next challenge with Cere noticeably absent, it's unlikely she won't be in the Fallen Order sequel at all. In fact, the game director Stig Asmussen said in an interview published on the official Star Wars website that "They are in dark times, and Cal and the crew are doing whatever it takes to stay alive." This quote strongly indicates that Cere is alive, and through her guidance, there may be a need to introduce Cal to Bail as it pertains to fighting against the Empire.
Of course, Bail's council and significance in Star Wars are enough to see Cal cross his path along with the rest of the Royal family. Alderaan is also a beautiful planet, not unlike the area of Bogano that was explorable in Fallen Order. Since Jedi: Survivor won't release on past-gen consoles, traveling to Alderaan may even be more likely as the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 would be able to show off the planet's natural beauty. The trailer for Jedi: Survivor also shows a new character in a Bacta tank in a seemingly abandoned facility over taken healthy flora, and the facility could be located on Alderaan from the days of the Old Republic.
Inquisitors From Kenobi Must Be In Jedi: Survivor
Given that Cal not only defeated two Inquisitors but survived an encounter with Darth Vader, it's possible that the aforementioned scenario where the Grand Inquisitor is tasked with capturing the young protagonist in Jedi: Survivor could happen. At the very least, the assignment could be ed down to other of the Inquisitorius, specifically the Third Sister, the Fifth Brother, and the other Inquisitor alongside them in episode two of Kenobi. Remaining on the run from Kenobi's Inquisitors for five years would help establish the darker tone of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at the very least.
Since Fallen Order featured two Inquisitors, it's also not out of the question that the sequel would feature the same amount if not more. Whether or not the characters from Kenobi would be preoccupied with hunting down the former Jedi Master remains to be seen. However, the Fifth Brother and Grand Inquisitor, at the very least, have the potential to hunt down Cal more than any of the other in Kenobi thus far simply because they have a future beyond the show in Star Wars Rebels.
Kenobi, Owen Lars, & Luke Skywalker Could Be In Jedi: Survivor
Despite his disdain for the Jedi, Owen Lars could be a surprise character in Jedi: Survivor. Fallen Order was one of the only Star Wars games that didn't feature Tatooine as an explorable destination, which could change in Jedi: Survivor. Although any hint of Tatooine would be a huge spoiler for the Fallen Order sequel, Owen Lars can easily be a character that Cal speaks with just through pure circumstance. Additionally, it may even be possible for Cal to stumble upon Luke if Jedi: Survivor brings him to the planet under the twin suns for any reason at all. While Tatooine is a large planet, Lars's connection to Obi-Wan and Luke in Kenobi and beyond makes him a character of interest for Star War Jedi: Survivor, no matter how large of a role he plays.
Although Obi-Wan turned the Jedi away in the first episode of Kenobi who was seeking his help, it's still possible that the former Jedi Master will have a transformation in the show that makes him more receptive to of the order like Cal. Given how old Cal Kestis is in Jedi: Survivor, there is a lot of wisdom that Kenobi can still on whether it's mediation, guidance, or something else entirely. Obi-Wan is unlikely to leave young Luke Skywalker unattended on Tatooine to venture off with Cal if Leia isn't in harm's way again, and Luke isn't leaving Tatooine any time soon. However, if young Leia has a chance of being in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor then her brother has to have a relatively equal chance.
