The senator for Naboo, Palpatine rose to power and influence during the dying days of the Republic. In reality, his public persona was just a mask; he was really Darth Sidious, greatest of the Sith Lords, and he used his political skills and Machiavellian cunning to bring down both the Republic and the Jedi. Palpatine ruled his Galactic Empire for decades, until he was betrayed by his apprentice, Darth Vader. Even this wasn't enough to stop the Emperor, however, as he was resurrected by his followers - only to be defeated once again.

A spear with lightning FX for the MagnaGuard, blast FX for the Super Battle Droid, and an axe accessory for the Battle Droid

In addition, Hasbro has announced a droid three-pack inspired by Jedi: Survivor - where droids from the Clone Wars era had been reprogrammed. This droid collection includes a MagnaGuard, Super Battle Droid, and standard Battle Droid. These Star Wars droids feature distinctive paintwork and weapons.

These sculpts have all been used before, but they nevertheless recreate new iterations of the classic droids. They're perfect for collectors who are interested in army builders, and will go well in displays opposing Cal. Hopefully, it won't be long before more Star Wars action figures are announced based on these games.
