Summary
- The ending of Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 leaves the door open for Omega and Clone Force 99 to return in future Star Wars projects.
- Omega's background as an unaltered clone makes her aging normal, positioning her to be a potential ally in the New Republic era.
- Omega's story could expand into other Star Wars mediums beyond The Bad Batch, offering a wealth of potential for her character development.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch just finished its final season, and despite the happy ending provided to Omega and the rest of Clone Force 99, Lucasfilm has left the door open for their return. The end of The Bad Batch season 3 revealed that Omega grew up peacefully on Pabu under the loving care of Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair, ultimately leaving to the Rebel Alliance as a pilot. This fits perfectly with her character, as she had begun training as a pilot with Tech in The Bad Batch season 2.
This ambiguous ending means some of Clone Force 99 could easily appear again in Star Wars canon. Omega is an unaltered clone, meaning she ages normally, and is only in her mid-to-late twenties during The Bad Batch's epilogue. Additionally, clones like Captain Rex were known to have fought in the Rebellion, so it’s possible Clone Force 99 could have some fight left to give, especially if that means helping out Omega. While it would be wishful thinking to see a live-action version of Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair, it can't be ruled out. Here’s everywhere these heroes could appear next.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Voice Cast - What The Actors Look Like In Real Life
Star Wars: The Bad Batch has quite an interesting cast of actors that features multiple Star Wars veterans, as well as a few newcomers.
6 Ahsoka Season 2
Omega Could Be a Great Ally To The New Republic
Because Omega ed the Rebellion as a pilot, she could easily have come into with any number of Star Wars characters. However, because Omega already knew Hera Syndulla, the pair likely reconnected sometime after Omega ed the Rebellion. Omega could have even been in Hera’s Phoenix Squadron or worked closely with Captain Rex during the war. In the aftermath, Omega's strong moral com means it's easy to imagine her working with her friends to help make the New Republic strong.
While she's never met Ahsoka Tano, Omega could fit nicely into Ahsoka season 2 by working alongside Hera Syndulla, or other New Republic officials to fight Grand iral Thrawn. It's even possible Omega's expertise as a pilot will be useful in getting Ahsoka and Sabine Wren back from the distant planet Peridea. Hera might be unable to travel to a different galaxy to find Ahsoka and Sabine because of her responsibilities as a General, but someone like Omega could. It’s even possible Omega met some of the Ghost Crew durin or after Star Wars Rebels.
It is unclear when Omega left Pabu to the Rebel Alliance.

5 Andor Season 2
Omega and The Batch Could Be Seen During the Dark Times
There are any number of ways Omega and the rest of the Bad Batch could appear in Andor season 2. It’s known that Andor season 2 will lead directly into the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, so it’s possible Omega will appear sometime during one of the final arcs of the show in a Rebel capacity. Omega’s experiences not only as a pilot but as someone who fought alongside her brothers would make her very valuable on missions like those undertaken by Cassian Andor.

4 Skeleton Crew
Star Wars New Republic Era Show Could See One Member’s Return
Details are still sparse about the Skeleton Crew but in an undisclosed role. There's intense speculation Condon is playing an older, live-action Omega. Considering Condon is in her early 40s, her age would match up with about how old Omega would be during Skeleton Crew.
Given that Skeleton Crew will be taking place around the time of the other “Mando-verse” shows in the New Republic era, Omega may be helping out Jude Law’s character. Just like in The Bad Batch, Omega would be helping others at the risk of her own safety, because it’s the right thing to do. Pirates will also be featured in Skeleton Crew, and Omega’s experience working with Phee Genoa may help keep the children safe.

3 Rey's New Jedi Order Movie
An Older Omega Could Still Be Alive
If Omega were to appear in the Star Wars: New Jedi Order, she would be much older. It’s not known exactly how old Omega is, but she was about 13 when the Republic fell and the Empire came into power. This would make her in her 80s in 50 ABY, the setting of Daisy Ridley's next movie as Rey. She could potentially serve as a friend or adviser to Rey.
It's also possible to see flashbacks of Rey Skywalker or other characters interacting with Omega, either during the time of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, or in the fifteen years between the fall of the Final Order, and the events of New Jedi Order. With so many details yet to be released about Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s film, the full cast will eventually be revealed. Knowing that Omega has a high midi-chlorian count, it’s possible that after leaving Pabu in The Bad Batch, she pursued training in the Force. Though it’s unlikely she became a Jedi, it’s not off the table entirely.

The tenth mainline installment in the Star Wars franchise is the first movie to follow the sequel trilogy, where Mark Hamill's Luke, Carrie Fisher's Leia, and Harrison Ford's Han Solo gave their final farewell. After the release of The Rise of Skywalker, development on a direct sequel had become dormant as Disney shifted focus on other parts of the galaxy, namely, Disney+ shows such as The Mandalorian, Andor, and Ahsoka. However, a movie starring Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker was officially announced at Star Wars Celebration 2023.
2 The Mandalorian & Grogu
Star Wars' Next Project Could See More Familiar Faces Return
In early 2024 it was announced that Jon Favreau would be directing the next Star Wars film, The Mandalorian & Grogu. The film goes into production later this year but will center around the two main characters from The Mandalorian. Lucasfilm is staying tight-lipped about the plot, but it’s safe to assume that Din Djarin and Grogu will be going up against the Imperial Remnant in some way. Because the full cast has yet to be revealed, The Mandalorian & Grogu could connect to any number of different Star Wars titles, and that includes The Bad Batch.
It's interesting to note that Grogu and Omega are already subtly connected. Both were targeted by Project Necromancer, although for subtly different reasons. This thematic tie means Omega would be an easy fit in The Mandalorian & Grogu. Din will presumably be operating out of Adelphi Base, so Omega could simply be one of the New Republic agents working there.

1 Omega’s Story Could Take Her Into Other Star Wars Mediums
There’s A Lot More To See From Omega
Omega has always been a compelling character, and her ending in The Bad Batch solidified that Lucasfilm isn’t done featuring her in the galaxy. It’s unclear when or how Omega will appear next in Star Wars, but the sky is truly the limit for the clone. Omega doesn’t just have to appear in someone else’s story as a side-character but could be an interesting protagonist to follow. This could be in her own mini-series similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi, or a series of shorts like Tales of the Jedi or Tales of the Empire, or even in a canonical Star Wars novel.
While getting to see Omega flourish after the conclusion of The Bad Batch would be amazing, if Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm’s plan for her is to other characters, that’s just as good. Omega is a great and complex character who would elevate any Star Wars project she appears in. Her comion and skill as a soldier would have her fit in nicely in any era of Star Wars. There are still some unresolved questions about The Bad Batch and having Omega appear again to fill in those holes would be beneficial.
Even though The Bad Batch is over, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the stories of Clone Force 99 are too. Characters like Omega could appear in any number of Star Wars titles, or even titles audiences have heard of yet. Additionally, the rest of Clone Force 99 in Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair could make cameos in different projects as well. Audiences may have said goodbye to Star Wars: The Bad Batch, but that could easily turn into “until next time.”
