Here's what happened to the four actors who were cut from Star Trek: Picard season 1 premiered with iral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) surrounded by a new motley crew, most of whom weren't in Starfleet. Picard's newfound friends included Soji (Isa Briones), Dr. Agnes Jurati (Alison Pill), Elnor (Evan Evagora), and Captain Cristobal Rios (Santiago Cabrera). Briones, Pill, Evagora, and Cabrera reprised their roles in Star Trek: Picard season 2.
When all of Star Trek: Picard's previous actors. Picard season 3 kept Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine and Michelle Hurd as Raffi Musiker, but excised Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Evan Evagora, and Alison Pill, a situation Matalas described as "terrible."
Star Trek: Legacy, happens.
4 Isa Briones
Briones Played Soji & Multiple Roles In Star Trek: Picard Seasons 1 & 2
Isa Briones bounced back nicely after her exit from Star Trek: Picard. Already an established theatrical performer as a former cast member of Hamilton, Briones netted the role of Euridyce in Hadestown on Broadway. Isa also starred as Margot in Disney+/Hulu's reboot of Goosebumps. Briones was next cast as Dr. Trinity Santos in Max's medical drama, The Pitt, which has raised her profile as part of the hit streaming series. Isa is expected to return in The Pitt season 2.
Star Trek: Picard seasons 1 and 2. Briones distinguished herself by portraying synthetic twins Dahj and Soji, as well as their sinister lookalike android, Sutra, in Picard season 1. Isa reprised Soji in Star Trek: Picard season 2's premiere, but she then returned as another character, Kore Soong, for the rest of the season. Kore was recruited into the Travelers by Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton) at the end of Star Trek: Picard season 2.
Isa Briones' father, Jon Jon Briones, played the Magistrate of the Confederation of Earth in Star Trek: Picard season 2.
Given that Soji's lifespan as a synthetic is uncertain, and Kore Soong is now a being that can exist beyond space and time, there is ample potential for Star Trek to bring back Isa Briones. Both Kore and Soji could appear in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which is set in the post-Star Trek: Discovery 32nd century. Fingers are crossed that Soji can also meet her 'father,' Data (Brent Spiner), in Star Trek: Legacy, now that Data has been resurrected in Star Trek: Picard season 3.
3 Santiago Cabrera
Cabrera Played Captain Cristobal Rios In Star Trek: Picard Season 1 & 2
Santiago Cabrera was already well-known for his roles in Heroes, Merlin, and Big Little Lies before he played Captain Cristobal Rios in Star Trek: Picard. After his Picard exit, Cabrera continued playing memorable roles. Santiago appeared in The Flight Attendant season 2 before taking on the main role of Jorge Sanchez in Fox's The Cleaning Lady. Cabrera also cameoed as Richard, the late father of Astrid Deetz (Jenna Ortega), in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Sorry Andor, Star Trek: Picard Did Bix’s Ending 2 Years Ago - And Better
The exceptional Andor season 2 ended with a hopeful image of Bix, but her story sounds awfully familiar to fans of Star Trek: Picard season 3.
Captain Cristobal Rios' exit from Star Trek: Picard seems definitive. After falling in love with Dr. Teresa Ramirez (Sol Rodriguez), Rios remained with her in the 21st century at the end of Star Trek: Picard season 2. Rios' death was later recounted by Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg). However, any number of time travel shenanigans and alterations to Star Trek's timeline could conceivably bring Cristobal Rios, and Santiago Cabrera, back.
2 Evan Evagora
Evagora Played Elnor In Star Trek: Picard Seasons 1 & 2
Evan Evagora hasn't been cast in a high-profile TV or movie role after Star Trek: Picard. The Australian actor's biggest role pre-Picard was as Nick Taylor in Blumhouse's Fantasy Island reboot. After portraying Elnor, a member of the Qowat Milat and iral Jean-Luc Picard's young Romulan protégé, Evagora voiced and did the motion capture for Nick Furcillo in The Quarry video game.
The Qowat Milat sect of Romulan warrior nuns created in Star Trek: Picard continued in Star Trek: Discovery, counting Dr. Gabrielle Burnham (Sonja Sohn), the mother of Captain Micharl Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), as a member.
Elnor became the first full-blooded Romulan in Starfleet and was assigned to the USS Excelsior in Star Trek: Picard season 2, where he was killed off and then resurrected by Q (John de Lancie). Elnor's fate was up in the air after the USS Excelsior was assimilated by the Borg and destroyed at the end of Star Trek: Picard season 3, but showrunner Terry Matalas later confirmed that Elnor was not aboard the starship when it was lost, potentially saving the young Romulan for a future Star Trek comeback.
1 Alison Pill
Pill Played Dr. Agnes Jurati In Star Trek: Picard Seasons 1 & 2
With roles in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and The Newsroom, Alison Pill already boasted a prolific acting career before being cast as Dr. Agnes Jurati in Star Trek: Picard. After her Picard exit, Pill took on new roles in AppleTV+'s Hello Tomorrow!, voiced Kim Pine in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, and Alison starred in Uncle Vanya on Broadway. Perhaps Pill's most notable role was playing Rachel, the wife of serial killer Cooper (Josh Hartnett), in M. Night Shyamalan's Trap.

Every Borg Queen In Star Trek
The Borg Queen stands apart from the rest of the Collective, and there have been many incarnations since her Star Trek: First introduction.
Dr. Agnes Jurati's fate after Star Trek: Picard season 2 creates the biggest question mark. Jurati merged with the Borg Queen (Annie Wersching) from the dark alternate Confederation reality, and their hybrid Queen created a new and more benevolent Borg Collective. Jurati's Borg Queen ended Star Trek: Picard season 2 by protecting the United Federation of Planets from a new, unseen enemy. Star Trek: Picard season 3 didn't follow up on what happened to Agnes Jurati's Borg Queen, unfortunately.
Soji, Jurati, Rios, and Elnor would be welcomed if Star Trek found a way to bring them back.
Star Trek: Picard's original cast fulfilled Patrick Stewart's initial wish that Jean-Luc Picard not retread his adventures on Star Trek: The Next Generation. However, Stewart eventually changed his mind, and the result was the most popular and critically acclaimed season of Star Trek: Picard. While the future is unclear for Isa Briones, Alison Pill, Evan Evagora, and Santiago Cabrera's characters, in Star Trek, there are always possibilities. Soji, Jurati, Rios, and Elnor would be welcomed if Star Trek found a way to bring them back.
