Warning: SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame ahead

A new Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

Most recently, Holland's Spider-Man returned in Avengers: Endgame, and though the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer previewed a European field trip Peter goes on with his classmates. Of course, there will be superhero hijinks as Peter is approached by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and teams up with Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) - though fans expect Mysterio to become a villain at some point in the movie since he's a villain in the comics. Now, a new trailer further teases the film.

Sony Pictures released the second Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, offering a new look at the MCU movie. After Avengers: Endgame concluded the MCU thus far, Far From Home will kick off a new era - though it's still in Phase 3. Because Endgame was a game-changer for the MCU, Far From Home will be dealing with the fallout. As such, the full Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer contains Avengers: Endgame spoilers - and a spoiler warning from Holland himself. The trailer also comes with tickets for Spider-Man: Far From Home going on sale via Sony. Watch the trailer below.

After the death of Tony Stark aka. Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame, Far From Home sees Peter Parker attempting to grieve for his mentor, all while wrestling with the fact that he may need to step up and take the hero's place. Iron Man was Earth's most recognizable Avenger, but with him gone and the core Avengers either dead or otherwise indisposed, Spider-Man is called upon by Nick Fury to battle some elemental monsters in Europe. However, Peter wants to focus on his European vacation with his friends, and his relationship with MJ (Zendaya).

Since it's been confirmed Mysterio explains he's from an alternate universe Earth - indicating the Infinity Stones may have torn a hole in reality. Or, of course, it could all be a ruse. After all, in the comics Quentin Beck was a special effects artist who used illusion to become a villain.

This full Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer provides more context about how the film will deal with the fallout from Avengers: Endgame. Considering the success of Endgame, it's sure to boost interest in Far From Home, but it's also another case of the MCU cashing in on its elaborate shared universe. Altogether, it should help make Spider-Man: Far From Home a success when it hits theaters this summer.
