NBA superstar LeBron James steps into the spotlight for a new fan poster of his Space Jam reboot, reboot took place last summer.
Despite the early struggles, James’ Space Jam: A New Legacy seems to be in a good place with the star Malcolm D. Lee will be directing, with Ryan Coogler producing and co-writing. Although not a lot is known about the reboot, a new fan-made poster has given us a glimpse of what we could see from James’ new film.
A new Instagram post from the popular artist, BossLogic, has given fans a tease of what they could expect from James' Space Jam, with a new poster. The poster has James front and center in the iconic Tune Squad basketball gear with Tweety on his right shoulder. Also, fitting with the “New Legacy” title, the poster seems to have an updated version of what looks like Pound, the leader of the Monstars in the original Space Jam, in the background with spikes on his head. The image captures the Space Jam vibe perfectly, with the three iconic elements of the basketball star, the Tunes, and with Coogler helping write it, one could be confident that this will be an update that still maintains the fun qualities that so many loved about the original.
Currently, James is focusing on trying to get back to his day job, with the NBA looking to resume their schedule at Disney World on July 30. The coronavirus pandemic has impacted the entire world, but fortunately, thus far, it has not forced Warner Bros. to delay their Space Jam reboot. So for the fans eagerly awaiting July 16, 2021, they can wet their Space Jam appetite with this impressive fan poster of Space Jam: A New Legacy.
