The TNT Snowpiercer show will now hit television screens two week earlier than planned. The past few weeks have been a hard time for many and the entertainment industry has to not been immune to the effects of the coronavirus. It seems that every day, we hear about a new movie or show getting its release pushed back. Not to mention, the other unfinished projects which have had to delay filming.

The television adaptation of Snowpiercer is defying this new trend, with original date of May 31st.

When discussing Snowpiercer in an official statement, TNT general manager Brett Weitz talked about his excitement for the TV show. Describing it as "one of the most anticipated original series of 2020," he commended its daring and thoughtful approach, saying it will resonate with audiences who are "craving thrilling, engaging, edge-of-your-seat content that speaks to them on a deeper level."

Snowpiercer on TNT Bong Joon Ho. It takes place in a futuristic world in which the world has become a frozen wasteland where all survivors are forced to live on a train which circles the globe. It stars Jennifer Connelly, with Bong Joon Ho serving as an executive producer.
