Kody's galactic doll and model collection could symbolize. While no one has a crystal ball that grants them the power to read his mind, it's safe to say that when he splashes out cash for toys from what is undoubtedly the most successful sci-fi series of all time, he's showing the world tantalizing glimmers of his inner world.
It's not just Star Wars toys that float the patriarch's boat - he also has some Transformers in the mix. As he navigates life with Robyn and what she called the "core family" following the departure of three wives, and the tragic ing of his son, Garrison Brown, his toys may comfort him. They perhaps evoke a sense of nostalgia - of traveling back to another phase in life, when things were simpler and clearer.
Kody's Got A Millennium Falcon Model
It's Quite An Impressive Toy
Adulting isn't exactly a skip in the park and no one knows that better than Kody. He's been scorned for preferring Robyn, and accused of favoring some of his kids over others. Painted more as Darth Vader than a hero, Kody may be misunderstood. His weaknesses and mistakes made him look bad. He's under a painful level of scrutiny. Kody actually chose a model of the Millennium Falcon, which will always be linked with a ramshackle derring-do of one Han Solo, rather than a Lord Vader doll. See his model above, as per Mindful_Goat_Nugget at Reddit.
The Millennium Falcon has had many names. It was once known as the Wayward Son, calling to mind the Southern-fried Kansas rock anthem, "Carry On Wayward Son." However, the light freighter gets most of its identity from its fascinating occupants - Han and his faithful sidekick, Chewbacca. Of course, Han's sassy romance with Princess Leia Organa was once a "soul mates" match so powerful it transcended time and space.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Perhaps Kody sees himself as the swashbuckling Han, protecting his brunette love, while she protects him right back. It's all so romantic. Sure, Han and Leia eventually called it quits, but as any cinema fan knows, this was a truly great love story. The characters had the kind of sizzling chemistry that is so rare onscreen.
In fact, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher (RIP) dabbled in a little off-camera romance, and she said that he wasn't a dream man IRL.
There's fantasy and then there's real life. As Kody amasses Star Wars toys, the real world is always there, interrupting his reveries. So it is for everyone. Robyn finds similar comfort in her American Girl doll collection, on which she's reportedly squandered 70K. These two may bond over this sort of romanticism - it's something the other Brown women didn't seem to have. The whimsy may signal compatibility - both know how to play.
Kody's General Grievous Doll Could Be Meaningful
It's An Exciting Choice With Some "Dark Side" Edge
Kody appears to have a General Grievous doll as well, as per the previously mentioned Reddit post. However, the shot of his toy collection is a bit blurry. If it is in fact the Kaleesh warlord, who chose modifications that would make him even deadlier in battle, in order to right a terrible wrong, then maybe he does have a taste for the Dark Side.
The General's true love was killed, and he was willing to do anything in order to battle those who took her life. Likewise, Kody seems to be willing to do anything for Robyn. Grievous, the proud owner of two arms that can turn into four, wields lightsabers with astonishing deftness. He was renowned for his mastery of galactic warfare.
Kody may feel like he had to go to the Dark Side sometimes for the sake of the marriage that matters so much to him. He feels he's punished for loving Robyn, and that's why he's wrongly slapped with the villain label. Maybe he feels like he's fighting for what he loves more than anything else - a relationship that really fulfills him.
He is obviously willing to deal with shade from haters in order to keep this sacred relationship intact. This is a sign that someone is really in love. They will not falter.
Kody will wear the black hat (well, helmet, to continue with a Vader analogy) if he has to, but maybe there's more to Kody than villainy - maybe he's a hopeless romantic whose toys show his devotion to a woman whom Sister Wives fans often consider a "Dark Side" queen. No, she doesn't employ Vader's iconic heavy breathing to break underlings' spirits or end their lives, but she's got her ways.
Robyn's got a little touch of the chilly, manipulative style of the Dark Side's most diabolical operatives, including Senator Palpatine.
There's also Transformers dolls - these "action figures" are "robots in disguise" - they effortlessly slip into different guises. Kody may fancy himself an Optimus Prime-style shapeshifter who had to reinvent himself. He's morphed from a dyed-in-the-wool polygamist to a man in a totally traditional marriage. That's a seismic shift.
Kody's Showing Fans Who He Really Is
He's Got Hidden Depths & Playfulness Too
People's personal belongings, from what they wear to what video games they play to which toys they display (and play with) are good indicators of their ions. It's fun to learn about what people love, as doing so helps to unlock the secrets they carry. If a person really wants to know someone else, learning about what they prize in the privacy of their own homes is a great shortcut.
Kody prizes Robyn - she's his Star Wars heroine, or Megan Fox on a motorcycle in Transformers, or whatever. She's the queen of his heart. That is clear, and he may feel like the world persecutes him for something he couldn't control - falling in love with a woman. That's not a crime - it's just that it's occasionally led to some Dark Side-style choices that led three neglected and miserable wives to look for true happiness, far away from plural marriage.
Sister Wives shows the downside of being a patriarch with a lot of wives. There are so many hurt feelings and so much guilt. Some men can make it work, but Kody just couldn't. Since he's grieving, just as the General did when he lost something so precious, it might be time to stop characterizing Kody as a totally bad person. Sometimes people do bad things because their pain is too much for them. They made sketchy decisions.
Kody gave Janelle and Meri Brown larger shares of Coyote , going out of his way to make sure they received more money - a lot more. That counts for a lot, as actions speak louder than words. Sister Wives' Kody could be a toy fan who's really matured.
Sister Wives fans can stream the series on the Discovery+ platform.
