Biles stands alongside greats like Michael Phelps (28 medals), Usain Bolt (unmatched records in the 100m and 200m), and Serena Williams (23 Grand Slams, four Olympic golds), setting her own unprecedented records. Within her total of 37 medals, Biles has the most World gold medals (23) and is the most decorated gymnast in the history of World Championships with her 30 medals.

In the women’s competition, Biles has six World all-around titles, which is the most titles in this contention. She is currently tied with Shannon Miller for the number of Olympic medals won by an American gymnast, that number being 7, and perhaps destined to rise after this summer’s games.
