Another Addition to Bloober's Horror Game Catalog

Project R is an horror game, with no current release date or timeframe. The only information known about the title comes from Skybound Entertainment, who are behind The Walking Dead, Invincible, G.I. Joe, and other popular comic franchises. Skybound was initially set to handle publishing, but the Poland-based developers have now acquired the full publishing rights, meaning they have full oversight over the distribution and development of Project R.

"Bloober Team has previously signed a licensing and publishing agreement with Skybound, owner of global brands such as The Walking Dead and Invincible. Under this cooperation, Bloober Team is implementing "Project R", which is based on one of Skybound's IPs. The annex to the agreement means that the Polish company is taking over full publishing rights, continuing work on the title within its own publishing department." - statement from Bloober Team

The President of the Polish developers, Piotr Babieno, provided a statement on the game through the investor relations post, describing Project R as "a completely new type of game...although of course it will be a horror game." The only concrete information regarding Project R is that it will continue Bloober's history of Layers of Fear and The Medium, will have to patiently wait until 2025.
