Similarly to the Resident Evil 2 remake in 2019, this game is breathing new life into something that is already beloved by the fandom. Resident Evil 2's remake also came out after Resident Evil 7, capitalizing on a popular title and reinvigorating fans' ion for the game. After a decade of dormancy, the game's release is one I hope is strategic or a safe way to test the waters to see if fans still want these games.
