Being invited to the Avengers acknowledges that Jen's greatest strength is her ability to keep a cool head in a conflict and act ethically in situations where other, more ego-driven heroes have an unproductive tendency to go off the rails.

While the Avengers may be Marvel's premier superhero team, it has a history of attracting characters whose powers are only matched by their egos. Figures like Iron Man and Black Panther have all done terrible things in their hubris, leading to disasters such as incorporate into their deadly Stark Sentinels. Bruce Banner's Hulk may be a founding Avenger and one of the strongest figures in the Marvel Universe, but his boundless rage and strength only adds fuel to the fire during these super-powered catastrophes.

Jen is the perfect Hulk for the Avengers because she is strong enough to act as a check upon their worst impulses. She can act as a moral and ethical com for the team with her strong conscience and legal knowledge. Additionally, as a Gamma hero, she has the physical strength to hold back the Avenger's strongest . Compared to Banner, who tends instead to cause problems for the Avengers to solve – or require the entire team to hold him back – Jen is the logical choice to act as the Avenger's resident Hulk.

Being invited to the Avengers acknowledges that Jen's greatest strength isn't her Gamma-enhanced physique. Rather, it's her ability to keep a cool head in a conflict and act ethically in situations where other, more ego-driven heroes – like her more famous relative – have an unproductive tendency to go off the rails. Banner may be the original Hulk, but considering how often his strength and rage cause the Avengers more harm than good, it's clear that She-Hulk is the hero the team needs more.
