Fury gives Gravik the Harvest while succumbing to the effects of radiation present in New Skrullos. After Gravik explains how he will become a Super Skrull and destroy humanity because of Fury's broken promise of finding the Skrulls a home, he imbues himself with the Avengers' DNA with Fury still present in the Super Skrull machine.

When Gravik attempts to kill Fury after becoming a fully-fledged Super Skrull, it is revealed that G'iah and Fury switched places before the events of Secret Invasion episode 6. As a result, G'iah is now a Super Skrull with the same powers as Gravik while Fury is in London aiding Sonya with the President's rescue. This explains Fury's mysterious phone call from Secret Invasion episode 5's ending. After being imbued with the abilities, Secret Invasion created an overpowered Avenger-level threat in the Super Skrulls.

From having the DNA of the strongest MCU characters like Hulk, Thor, Thanos, Abomination, and Cull Obsidian to the overwhelming powers of Carol Danvers, Ebony Maw, and Mantis among others, the Super Skrulls are incredibly formidable. Now the MCU has a surviving character in G'iah who could possibly overpower even the Avengers, setting up Emilia Clarke for a big MCU future. This also indicates that Charlayne Woodard will likely appear in The Marvels as Varra unless the film has a time skip after Secret Invasion episode 6's ending.
