Schitt's Creek is one of the most uplifting, entertaining shows ever to exist, hands down. Fans adore it, the critics have done nothing but sing the cast's praises, and there is barely anything negative to say about the entire series. In Schitt's Creek, viewers follow the Rose family's fall from grace and their subsequent attempt to make do with life in a podunk town far from the riches and elitism that they once enjoyed.
Muddling through a whole new world wasn't easy for Moira, David, and the gang. They stumbled through some questionable life choices before finally reaching the promised land of happiness and true fulfillment. These hilarious moves by the Roses had fans in stitches, but also wondering what on earth were these characters thinking?
David's Stint With The Amish
David goes totally dramatic when he takes off for the country, an annoying move on his part. He leaves his family behind at their motel, who wonder where he's gone as he takes up life among the Amish. Johnny, Moira, and Alexis track him down and find him sitting in a field with a pitchfork and a very annoyed Amish lady.
It becomes evident that David belongs just about anywhere other than Schitt's Creek. The scene is hysterical and made fans wonder what on earth David thought when heading for the Amish hills.
Alexis Let Ted Go
Alexis rugged Mutt and sweet Ted. It becomes clear to just about everyone but Alexis that Ted is the perfect guy, and Alexis should be so lucky to call him hers.
She doesn't get the picture and instead lets Ted go, breaking his beautiful heart and making one of the worst moves in her life. At this point, everyone at home yelled, "Noooooo," at their television screens. Letting Ted slip away was a questionable move, to be sure.
Patrick Left David Details Out
In a series twist that no one saw coming, Patrick isn't perfect, but he is a keeper, and, when the two decide that they want to be together forever, families must be introduced. Patrick's mom and dad make the trip out to Schitt's Creek, where Patrick introduces David as his business partner, not the love of his life.
The move to hide his true feelings and a major part of his life was not a great one. It caused a rift between him and David, but, thankfully, they worked things out—and thank goodness, as fans needed these two to go the distance. They were total relationship goals.
Stevie And David Go Further Than Friends
Before David finds his way to Patrick, he dabbles in a fling with his new bestie, Stevie. Watching him and the socially awkward Stevie muddle through some motel romance moments makes for funny television, but it was a questionable life moment for both Stevie and David.
By getting jiggy with it, they could have permanently ruined the friendship that they had been building. Thankfully, they managed to only go forward as friends, which was certainly the better life choice.
Moira And David Heat It Up In The Kitchen
Sometimes in life, you have to just take a chance at things; roll the dice and see how the cards fall! Moira and David took a chance in the kitchen, making Moira's "famous" enchiladas. Working with fire, ingredients, and cluelessness was a questionable—albeit very entertaining—scene, but it proved that some chances are not worth taking. Moira and David should try things in life, so long as those things happen outside of the kitchen. Fold in the cheese, David!
Everything About A Little Bit Alexis
When the gang puts on a local play, Alexis is sure that she has what it takes to land a role and secure a spot in the cast lineup. She does, after all, have a background in being a pop-singing reality star of sorts. She auditions in front of Jocelyn and her mom, Moira, with her show song, A Little Bit Alexis. The song and choreography are everything. The scene is hysterical, but, as far as talent goes... there is none. Alexis as an entertainer? That's a very questionable life choice, for sure.
Roland And Jocelyn's Next Round In Parenthood
Roland and Jocelyn have a lot going on. He is the mayor of Schitt's Creek, and she is busy with her domestic duties and her choir group. When the couple finds out that they are expecting a little one later on in life, everyone questions this life move, including Roland and Jocelyn.
Once the baby is born, Roland takes up jobs with Stevie and Johnny to make ends meet, and Jocelyn appears run down and exhausted with the new baby. They make it through those challenging times, but deciding to have a baby years later was dicey, for sure!
Basically, Everything That Moira Wears
Moira Rose is about as eccentric as they come. She might not have much leftover from her former life as a wealthy television starlit, but she has her wild outfits and her many zany wigs, which she likes to hang on the motel wall.
Even though Schitt's Creek is a jeans-and-tee-shirt kind of town, Moira continues to dress like she is a high society woman of New York City. She is a fish out of water, and she makes nearly everyday look like it is Halloween. Her daily fashion choices can be seen as bold and courageous or questionable. You decide.
Stevie And David Contemplate Life As Flight Attendants
Eventually, David finds his calling with his apothecary, and Stevie becomes highly successful in the motel business world. Still, before that, the two were wayward and looking for meaning in their lives.
They thought the answer to their prayers might lie in the friendly skies, and they were both interviewed to become flight attendants. Stevie makes it through interviews and works for Larry Air for a short period of time. The job is nothing like she thought it would be, however. Taking up this line of work did not pan out.
Moira Represents Vino
Moira flounders in her new life in Schitt's Creek, and, when she is presented with an opportunity to represent a wine brand, she jumps on it. Moira loves being on screen and adores being the center of attention, so she feels that this life move will be a perfect fit for her.
Unfortunately, Moira quickly realizes that the wine being tied to her brand is terrible—beyond terrible, really. The whole situation is funny, and everyone watching thought that Moira should have weighed her options before heading down this road. Her days representing bad wine were one of the many questionable life choices the Roses made during their time in Schitt's Creek.
