making big improvements over its predecessor while having a lower price.
When Samsung released the original Galaxy Fold back in 2019, it was met with numerous criticisms, from its ludicrous near $2,000 price tag, along with various structural integrity issues. However, each succeeding Galaxy Fold entry came with some much-needed upgrades, such as the Galaxy Fold 2's improved hinge and durability. Now that Samsung has pretty much addressed most of the issues that plagued the original model in the latest Galaxy Fold 3, it's finally ready to rectify concerns regarding its pricing, at least, for the time being.
As part of its Black Friday offers, Samsung is dropping the Galaxy Fold 3's original $1,800 starting price by a whopping $250. The limited-time deal offers the 256GB Galaxy Fold 3 for about $1,550, while the 512GB version goes for about $1,650. What makes the package even sweeter is the inclusion of Samsung's latest Galaxy Buds 2 and a single-device wireless charger, which is great considering the Galaxy Fold 3 barely comes with any accessories out-of-the-box whatsoever.

Is Samsung's Galaxy Fold 3 Deal Worth It?
Foldable smartphones still belong to quite a niche market, but the Galaxy Fold 3 just might offer enough to convince skeptical consumers to take the plunge sooner rather than later. For starters, it's basically the most technologically advanced model in the lineup, coming with Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 888 chip for faster performance, and much brighter, smoother 120Hz displays inside and out. It's also the most durable Galaxy Fold yet, with a screen that's touted as 80 percent tougher than its predecessor's, and the first in the series to actually come with an IP-rated water resistance, so s can be less worried about mishandling it, unlike in previous models.
Another thing worth noting is that Samsung's Black Friday offer also includes its new Galaxy Buds 2 and proprietary wireless charger, which are originally valued at around $150 and $40, respectively. This makes the whole Galaxy Fold 3 package much more complete since it typically ships with nothing else but a double-sided USB-C cable and a sim tool. While the deal isn't exactly within the triple-digit budget territory just yet, it still makes the Galaxy Fold 3 the most affordable it's ever been, especially since it's already making record-breaking sales prior to any discounts.
