Sailor Pluto/Setsuna Meiou

The guardian of time and protector of the Space-Time Door, Sailor Pluto is the sixth Sailor Guardian to be introduced in the anime. Fans of Sailor Pluto are sometimes seen as distant or lonely, but deep down they are quite affectionate and have a strong sense of duty.

Sailor Pluto is deeply committed to her role as the Guardian of Time and willingly stayed at her post for years without any human . Her civilian identity, Setsuna Meiou, is more affectionate and she enjoys doting on Chibiusa. Rational and mature, Sailor Pluto is one of the most composed Sailor Guardians, and always does her duty with determination and without complaint.

Sailor Neptune/Michiru Kaiou

The partner of Sailor Uranus and one of the Outer Sailor Guardians, Sailor Neptune is the ideal example of a princess. Fans of Sailor Neptune are intelligent and polite, and while not necessarily the most sociable, they put effort into their most important relationships.

Michiru Kaiou, her civilian identity, has a love of the arts and is a talented musician, as demonstrated by her virtuoso skill with the violin. She rarely gets angry and is very patient, but when triggered, her tongue can be quite sharp. Her hatred of being patronized extends to her treatment of others, and she tends to be honest and forthright with her opinions.

Sailor Uranus/ Haruka Tenou

The other half of Sailor Neptune and one of the Outer Sailor Guardians, Sailor Uranus is more masculine than most of her fellow Sailor Guardians. Fans of Sailor Uranus can be aggressive and blunt but are also naturally protective and extremely devoted to their friends.

Sailor Uranus's civilian identity, Haruka Tenou, has eclectic tastes and is both a talented pianist and an accomplished racecar driver. She is quite stubborn at times but is also very intelligent, and is a competent leader who is not afraid to take control of a situation. Her flirtatious and outgoing personality lends her a charming aura, and in everything she does she radiates confidence and strength.

Sailor Saturn/Hotaru Tomoe

The Guardian of Destruction and the last of the Outer Sailor Guardians, Sailor Saturn is a complicated character who can be different things at different times. Fans of Saturn can be mercurial and tend to be more reserved and stoic, but also extremely perceptive and self-motivated.

Sailor Saturn and Hotaru Tomoe have very different personalities. While Hotaru is quite shy and lonely, Sailor Saturn is serious and sarcastic. In a sense, Sailor Saturn is the embodiment of the dark, honest feelings that Hotaru feels in her heart. She has a fondness for destruction and chaos but is also willing to sacrifice herself to save her friends.

Sailor Jupiter/Makoto Kino

The fourth Sailor Guardian introduced in the series and one of the Inner Sailor Guardians, Sailor Jupiter is one of Sailor Moon's most trusted allies. Fans of Sailor Jupiter are tough and full of contradictions, possessing both hard and soft qualities in balance with one another.

Makoto Kino, Sailor Jupiter's civilian identity, is sometimes masculine and loves to fight, as evidenced by her expertise in martial arts. At the same time, she also loves to cook, garden, and arrange flowers. Whenever she feels weak, she always looks for ways to make herself stronger. Her dedication to improving herself is a constant of her personality, and she does not hesitate to use her strength to protect others who are weaker than her.

Sailor Mars/Rei Hino

The second Sailor Guardian introduced in the series and one of the Inner Sailor Guardians, Sailor Mars has a sometimes turbulent relationship with Sailor Moon but is still extremely loyal to her leader. Fans of Sailor Mars are headstrong and fiery and are comfortable sharing their ionate feelings with others.

In her civilian life as Rei Hino, she is very ambitious and can be argumentative at times when she feels strongly about a subject. She has a short temper and can easily fly into a rage, but is also capable of being quite affectionate with those she loves. She loves to tease and joke around but can be extremely serious when the lives of her friends are in jeopardy.

Sailor Venus/Minako Aino

The fifth Sailor Guardians introduced in the series who previously moonlighted under the name Sailor V, Sailor Venus is the most similar in appearance and personality to Sailor Moon. Fans of Sailor Venus can be occasionally but also invest time in helping their friends solve difficult problems, specifically those related to love.

In the manga and Sailor Moon: Crystal, Sailor Venus is the de facto leader of the Inner Guardians charged with protecting Princess Serenity, and as such, she is a competent leader. As Minako Aino, much like Usagi, she can be quite silly and clumsy, but she is also very athletic and deceptively strong. Due to her experience prior to meeting the other Sailor Guardians, she is very focused on her completing her mission as a Sailor Guardian and protecting Sailor Moon.

Sailor Mercury/Ami Mizuno

The second Sailor Guardian introduced in the series and one of the Inner Sailor Guardians, Sailor Mercury acts as Sailor Moon's most trusted advisor. Fans of Sailor Mercury are intelligent and gifted, but also rather shy and do not like to gloat or brag about their accomplishments.

As Ami Mizuno, Sailor Mercury's civilian identity, she is a sweet and ive character who is slightly insecure about her appearance and abilities. Amongst friends and people who her, she is comfortable sharing her opinion and is very analytical. She is gentle and loyal, and while not the strongest physically she is always thinking of ways to use her talents to help others.

Sailor Chibi Moon/Chibiusa

The Princess of the 30th Century Earth and the daughter of Sailor Moon and Prince Endymion, Sailor Chibi Moon is a typical spoiled princess. Fans of Sailor Chibi Moon like to get their way and can be bratty at times but are also very popular with their friends and classmates.

Her civilian identity, Chibiusa, often gets into fights with Usagi, who she views as a clumsy crybaby. She is upbeat and outgoing, and one of the most bubbly of the Sailor Guardians.  While she can be act jealous and loves being spoiled by some of her fellow Sailor Guardians, over time she grows more confident in herself and is less combative with others.

The leader of the Sailor Guardians and the main protagonist of the series, Sailor Moon is a reluctant leader who is willing to push herself to the limit to help her friends. Fans of Sailor Moon may be dramatic and lethargic, but they are also hopeful optimists who believe in the natural goodness of all living things.

In her civilian identity, Usagi Tsukino is clumsy and childish, particularly at the start of the series. Over time, as she is forced to deal with increasingly difficult situations, she becomes more bold and capable and grows into a confident and inspiring leader. She cares deeply about her family and friends, so much so that she often sticks her nose into other people's business. Her generosity knows no bounds, and she is even willing to give villains the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to redeem themselves.
