A new glitch has been discovered in detail in Red Dead Redemption 2, players are occasionally still discovering secrets, hidden content, and glitches inside Rockstar's massive depiction of the Wild West, from thing like mysterious giant skeletons to hidden vampire conspiracies.

Some of these glitches have proved to be more helpful than others, such as the trick in Red Dead Redemption 2 which allows for players to keep themselves from losing health after a lengthy fall as long as they are projectile vomiting while they descend. Other glitches in Red Dead Redemption 2, such as a recent one which gave John Marston a pair of see-through pants, are less useful but still entertaining, and some, like the new issue discovered below, have the potential to be downright detrimental.

Now, it appears as if yet another disturbingly unhelpful glitch in Red Dead Redemption 2 has surfaced, according to a recent post by a Reddit who goes by the forum handle u/moverlop. As shown in the video below and described in the post's title, u/moverlop simply rode their horse up to the water's edge when suddenly the animal (and its rider) are sling-shotted to the side for seemingly no reason and are then thrown unceremoniously into the river. Check it out below:

Unfortunately, as the describes in the post's title, this Red Dead Redemption 2 glitch not only forced them to have to get a whole new horse, but they also lost all of the items which were located in the animal's saddlebags. It's unclear as to what exactly caused this in-game jankiness to trigger, although comments in the post's thread blame issues related to Rockstar's use of the Unreal Engine.

Thankfully, it doesn't appear as if the animal drowned (at least, from the available footage) but the horse also appears to not realize it is underwater at all, which is almost more disturbing. Since a The Neverending Story as well.
