A creative fan has recreated rival to the Gray family, who owned their own plantation in the same region.
Minecraft players have been recreating elements from other games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 pretty much since the crafting game was released. The updates that have been made to Minecraft have not only added more content but also introduced new mechanics to the game which boost what players are capable of making or recreating even further. One fan even went as far as to make a way to play Inception effect, which showcases just how much players can do with the game.
Reddit u/DarthAngusBeef shared their recreation of Red Dead Redemption 2’s Braithwaite Manor on the game's subreddit. According to u/DarthAngusBeef, they recreated the manor to use as a survival base and it took about a month or two of working on it on and off to collect all the materials and actually build the manor and its surroundings. They also used custom texture and shader packs to achieve the build’s detailed look, and they mention that the pathway to the house has more trees than what’s seen in the photo they shared.
While Minecraft itself already comes with a lot of features to foster creativity, many s also create mods that help enhance not only the look but also the experience of the game, such as the aforementioned texture and shader packs that u/DarthAngusBeef utilized to recreate Braithwaite Manor in the game. While some -made texture packs simply enhance the current assets of the game, some take it to a whole other level and pretty much change the game’s elements to something almost completely different, such as this texture pack that turns Minecraft’s blocks into Lego bricks.
It obviously takes a lot of time and effort to work on recreations such as this, especially considering the need to not only design, plan, and build the structure but to also collect all the materials that’s required to complete the project. So it’s always impressive to see what Minecraft players come up with, whether it’s a recreation of a location from a game such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or a new mod that helps enhance the Minecraft experience further.
